Vocal House
Vocal house is characterized by the usage of deep emotional vocals (by jazz singers) and piano melodies. Sometimes, vocal house compositions consist of jazz loops, brass and funk bass lines.
Birth: 1986 Bloom: 1994
The style became popular in the late 80s — early 90s. Vocal house has its roots in American club music, but also there is an influence of Balearic Island (Ibiza) music. The most famous representatives of this style include Freemasons, Kaskade, David Morales, Offer Nissim, Yinon Yahel, and Star Tattooed. Vocal house is mostly used as an umbrella term for all related house styles based on vocals and song structure.
