Mike Spirit

Mike Spirit is one of the most popular Russian DJs who began his career in the mid 90’s in the legendary Moscow clubs Hermitage and Relax. Today, Mike has more than 15-year experience of playing in Russia, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain and the United States.

Currently, Mike Spirit is the owner of several labels. First on the list — Highway Records which releases tracks by some of the best Russian sound producers (SCSI-9, Monaque, Modul, Bvoice, Nikitin, BarBQ, Spieltape) and remixes by world-renowned artists, whose names speak for themselves — Gui Boratto, Robert Babicz, Tigerskin, Terry Lee Brown Jr., Jim Rivers, Guti, Kolombo to name a few. Together with Arma 17 resident DJ Rayo Mike manages Cooltool Records — quite young, but already well-known record label that releases actual European house music by Chris Carrier, Alexkid, Patrick Zigon, Yakine, Lownza, etc. And finally, the third imprint — Ketama Records which is more downtempo-oriented and representing such artists as The Orb, Abakus, OMFO, etc.

In addition, Mike Spirit is the host of Highway show broadcasted by the biggest dance radio station in Ukraine Kiss FM, and author of the weekly Easy On The Motion podcast. Also Mike plays his sets on massive parties in Arma 17 club (Moscow) on a regular basis. In 2009-2010 — minister of culture of Kazantip Republic. Since 2010 — head of Sochi Winter Music Conference (SWMC) art-management.
