Sel-p
Konstantin (Sel-p) was born in Nelidovo Russia but has been living in St.-Petersburg since childhood . In 2003 he started to write music.
After a writing of a great number of tracks in various styles of music, the choice was chillout. His first track in that style 'Sunset'. However, it was only an experiment which was not foretelling the formation of a chillout project. But later the quantity of 'experimental' tracks began to increase and the delight of friends and familiar musicians have forced to reflect on the creation of the project which later became 'Sel-p'.
And also the choice of quiet and harmonious style was in many respects affected by Kostantin's favorite artist, 'Schiller'.
2007 marked a debut album under the name 'Sun Station' on label Melody-Z Records. It contains 8 chill tracks.
In 2008-2009 saw more tracks and projects. And the sound quality of the 'Sel-p'developed. 5 of those tracks landed on an on air radio called 'Record' in Russia. Record deals and remix offers began to arrive.
Sel-p is constantly developing and working on different styles: Chillout, Ambient, Downtempo, Lounge, New Age and Trip-Hop. The future holds a deeper, melodious and emotionally-charged sound.
