is one of the most popular and touring house and electro-house Djs in Ukraine.

Yuriy (his real name) started his career as a dancer in a famous dancing squad – «Discomaniax». Performing and dancing in the clubs with their endless energy and thankful audience pushed himto the desk with CD-players and mixer – to play his first live-set.

Even his DJ title – Maniak – came from the name of the squad as everyone called them simply – maniaks.

His professional career, as a dj, Yuriy started in 2001.

Within years of his work and performances on a club stage of his home-city Odessa, he became the best house dj of the city which was proven by number of nominations and awards:

-         Winner of the competition «Best DJ of Odessa», which is held during annual Fair «Light. Sound. Stage.», in 2006 and 2008.

-         «Best DJ 2008» – awarded by Internet portal – STAKAN.

-         «Best DJ 2010» – awarded by Odessa Entertainment Awards.

He used to be a resident of the most popular night-clubs in Odessa – «Atlantis», «Yo!», «Rivera», «Ibiza».

Having moved to Kiev in 2009, he has become a resident of BARSKY CLUB (www.barsky-club.com). As a special guest, Dj Maniak was frequently invited to play in «PaTiPa» night-club (www.patipa.com) which was always highly ranked among Kiev clubs. 

Since summer 2010 together with Dj Tommy-Lee he started a radio show «Black & White» on the best dance radio-station in Ukraine – KISS FM.

There is another very important and bright page in Dj Maniak's career – cooperation with incredible MC Rybik (www.rybik.com). Their duet is almost inseparable and joint touring schedule is planned for months ahead.

His own tracks which he has started to compose and produce recently are regularly in rotation on KISS FM

These days Dj Maniak tours a lot not only in Ukraine but also abroad. At the same time he could be heard more and more often in the best night-clubs of our capital: «AURA», «Heaven», «Dante», «SkyBar» (skybar.ua),«D.Lux» (www.dlux.com.ua).
