Cora said to take a shovel
Dig a grave behind our hovel
Two feet down for a start
Digging out was my part

In my bed i lied with cold heart
Cora nailed the coffin dead shut
Dark and stuffy it'd become
For a moment i felt numb

Dig it out, my baby, baby
For tomorrow you shall train it
Save your breath and climb up higher
Leave you grave, it's your desire
Dig the soil with nail and finger
Ground's soft, you need not linger
When the oxygen is over
You'll be buried here down lower

Wrecking coffin's lid with eyes-burn
Ground's falling, pushing it on
Hardly digging through the ground
Made it out i'm safe and sound

Soon it was all six feet under
Lost my consciousness, no wonder
But she'd trained me in the end
Even poisoned raised to stand
