Live Looping
Live looping is the recording and playback of a piece of music in real-time using either dedicated hardware devices, called loopers or phrase samplers, or software running on a computer with an audio interface.

Live looping is very popular for improvisation, but it also can be a basis for compositions that created or adapted specially for looping. Among famous musicians who use this technique attention should be paid to Dub FX, Beardyman, Rocky Leon, Xander MC, KT Tunstall.
Looping is the natural evolution of beatboxing, which was popular in hip-hop since the early 80s. Unlike beatboxers, looping artists use modern technologies in order to play several tracks alternately.
Looping artists use a wide range of soft and electronic devices. Dub FX is the main star of this genre; he became popular due to his videos on You Tube. Even when he turned out to be a global star he didn`t stop his street performances, it was a good example for his colleagues, who save street traditions of the style and don`t let it be commercial.
