Ghettotech
Ghettotech is a form of electronic music originating from Detroit and Chicago. It combines elements of Chicago`s ghetto house with electro, techno and Miami bass.
Birth: 1990 Bloom: 1995 Death: 1998
The style features four-on-the-floor rhythms and is usually faster than most other dance music genres, at roughly 145 to 170 bpm, and sometimes features pornographic lyrics.
Ghetto tech was formed in 1994 by some DJs and producers who worked in Detroit. They were inspired by Miami bass and ghetto house.
