Zhanna Valdmane (stage name – Zhanna Waldmane, ex-Sistronka)

Founder and creative mind behind the Duck Universe community.
Her passion for electronic music began at an early age and led her into the world of online radio, where from 2009 to 2018 she hosted various shows on Kinozaltv, Moswar, Volna, Lumix FM, and other platforms.
In 2022, Zhanna launched her own online radio project - Sisterworld, focused on club genres such as Progressive House, Techno, Afro House, Tech House, Deep House, Minimal, and Deep Tech, with a primary focus on Progressive House.
In 2023, she completed her studies at the international DJ school Pro Stereo, founded by DJ and artist TAGA, which became a key milestone in shaping her artistic approach to sound and performance.
Since 2024, Zhanna has been an official representative of the Azbuka community, as well as the Exx Music Group and 16om labels.
The Azbuka project unites DJs and electronic music enthusiasts from around the world, creating a space for creative exchange and artistic growth.
Azbuka Radio provides DJs and newcomers with the opportunity to express themselves and share their musical taste through live performances - supporting real-time mixing and authentic club energy.
Zhanna is also a resident of DSR (Dance Station Radio) and the host of the weekly show Progressive World Music, dedicated to deep, cinematic, and forward-thinking progressive sound.
Based in Riga, Zhanna’s mission is to bring together like-minded people - DJs, artists, and all those who live through art and sound - for the joint development and promotion of electronic music culture, as well as to create a space for creative self-expression and club-oriented events.
In 2025, her project Sistronka evolved into Zhanna Waldmane - a more mature and personal identity reflecting the artist’s true sound.
In this new chapter, she defines herself as a multiformat DJ, blending the depth of minimalism, the energy of techno, and the cinematic atmosphere of progressive music, while maintaining her signature storytelling approach.
