Petrenka has been involved in music culture since 1995. Like many DJs he got first experience making school parties. At that moment he was inspired by such artists as Robert Miles, Derrick May, Francois K. Since that he made a great journey through music cultures trying to find music which would have touched his soul. As he "grew up" he started to find and play music which could touch other people hearts. Due to the opportunity to travel around the world he saw great djs rocking the dancefloors and felt in love with atmosphere which can be created when people come together for joy, happiness and party time. After having been collecting music for many years Petrenka started to bring amazing sounds for his friends and people around him. That's what he is doing now.

Petrenka (Иван Петренко) родился на юге России, в городе Таганроге. Вырос в семье советских инженеров. С раннего детства любил слушать сказки на виниле, крутить бобины, а позже - первые аудио кассеты и CD-диски с клубной музыкой. Первый DJ-опыт Иван получил, устраивая дискотеки на школьных вечерах в середине 90х. Увлечение коллекционировать любимую музыку превратило жизнь в вечеринку и постоянный поиск новых, актуальных, а также классических треков на любой вкус! Серия миксов Old Sounds - это путешествие в богатый внутренний мир DJ Petrenka. Соединение самых разных музыкальных стилей, грамотная расстановка треков, интересное звучание все это Old Sounds!
