Ivan Petrenka is an experienced DJ, born in the USSR in Taganrog, who began his journey in 1996 when he was invited to play at a school disco due to his impressive cassette collection. Over the years, he became a resident DJ at his university's student club and the legendary disco bar Nadya. Inspired by John Digweed's radio show and Pete Tong's Essential Mix, Ivan developed his style by blending old-school classics with modern sounds.

In 2001, discovering DJ Mag and seeing John Digweed ranked as the #1 DJ fueled his desire to explore the global scene. This led him to England, where he immersed himself in the club culture of Fabric, The End, and Bar Rumba, while also attending the Global Gathering festival. This was when he fully embraced the world of serious, forward-thinking electronic music.

In 2006, Ivan reached the finals of the Red Devil DJ Contest, earning the opportunity to refine his skills through masterclasses with Russian legends Groove and Fonarev. Shortly after, he secured his first Moscow residency at the renowned Depeche Mode Bar, a key venue for underground music lovers. During his time in Moscow, he played at various bars, cafés, and events, further shaping his signature sound.

Later, Ivan moved to Detroit, where he continued his career, becoming a resident at La Casa Cigars and Lounge and a frequent guest at Mars Bar. His experiences across different cities and scenes allowed him to refine his craft while staying true to his passion for deep, immersive music.

Now based in Serbia, Ivan continues to perform, organize events, and host his podcast Elden Sound, where he shares a mix of timeless classics and fresh discoveries. Dedicated to promoting high-quality, atmospheric music, he is always on the lookout for new collaborations and creative projects.
