Dj Othello featuring LayZee

When Dj Alexej Othello met LayZee, it was at his resident club in Hannover Germany called Infinity. Dj Othello is a very talented and remarkable Dj who has only been Djing for a couple of years. But his passion for music has bought him to a level, which is only a dream for most other Dj’s who have been working in the business longer. LayZee was a private guest in the club as Othello approached with two remakes of songs that LayZee had performed time and time again as the frontman of the German pop group Mr. President. LayZee was very impressed with what he heard and saw in the club and how the people reacted to Dj Othello. It reminded him of his time as a Dj. This is one of the reasons the two hit it off and became friends. Later Othello asked LayZee if he would be interested in putting his vocals to the tracks and also some other tracks, which he had been working on. It was in the recording process in Othello’s studio that the two decided to work together on the stage and at Dj gigs. They started off doing some promotion shows, That met with such a hugh response, that the two have now built up a project together. The first planned release which features the vocal of LayZee, will be “Up ‘n’ Away’ which is ironically the song that bought Mr. President into the German charts in 1994 and when LayZee joined the group. Othello is now on tour with LayZee right across the length and breath of Russia with their ‘Up ‘n’ Away 2011 Tour’ Later next year the two will be staring work on a new album of Dance and Pop tracks.

DJ Othello начал свою профессиональную карьеру в 2008 г., став резидентом в нескольких модных Ганноверских (Германия) клубов. Благодаря отменному музыкальному вкусу и личному обаянию, всего через 2 годa Alexej Othello был приглашен в состав музыкального проекта Layzee (Mr President) feat DJ Othello.
