D-R-U-N-K, the French techno pioneer, teams up with the young Russian genius producer, Marseille, to create a dark futuristic electronic EP about the insecurities of robots.
"I Dont Need To Sleep" is a twisted, haunting excursion into the darker realms of electro, as the music spirals beyond the stratosphere anchored by a hypnotic analogue driven pulse. Oly Grasset (D-R-U-N-K) explains, "It's about a computer speech synthesizer female voice who realises that she sounds human but doesn't need anything us humans need, so she demonstrates to us how impossible life will be if we didn't sleep, eat, drink and so on. Robot poetry."
Hot on the heels of the D-R-U-N-K and MARSEILLE EP release on Police Records, this additional EP features six remixes from both the original artists, D-R-U-N-K and Marseille, as well as Belgium’s Kenny Van den Eynde A.K.A. Ntology, Swedish born but now UK based FATHER (Chewy Chocolate Cookies), BETA / MAKO man, GMOROZOV and fellow Russian, Polymorphic (Lektroluv). *Click Here* to listen.
