Beginning 5th of September the latest single – “High On” by Latvian DJ and producer [Ex] da Bass has finally become available to the dance music fans outside the Baltics. It’s digital release by Estonian record company “Blaya Music” also includes best works of the remix contest.

The vocal of the song belongs to the British artist Jessica Palmer – selected by producers because of her great timbre. Jessica has been featured in many records released by many different dance music recording companies – “Ministry of Sound” being amongst them.

Producers from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania were invited to participate in the contest. As it was reported earlier – the main prize to the author of absolutely the best remix would be a 150 Euro gift card to the DJ equipment store “Discomania” (www.discomania.lv) and  time in pro studio for mixing and mastering! “So, here I announce that the winner of the remix contest is Mandkran – young and talanted producer from Latvia, whose remix out of many dozens was selected by the jury.” – tells [Ex} da Bass. “His remix is emotional, dreamy and thoughts inducing. Great work!” Mandkran himself when asked why his work sounds as it does says: “Probably because this style of music is closest to me. Even though initially I had a different vision about how it should sound, I am glad that it turned out exactly the way you hear it now.”

Single also includes other remixes acknowledged by jury from Latvian N’Works, MBerg and DB & SD, Estonian Notrak and additionally – remix by Adam Liria and Feel So Good remix by [Ex] da Bass himself.
