Moscow Girls by MIC E.P. MIC E.P.

If you have heard the song MOSCOW GIRLS and you like the track here is some information about the history of its creation. At Qua-Qua Park DANCESESSIONS, MIC E.P. met DJ Shevtsov while enjoying the party as a guest with DJ SANDRIQUE. During the party MIC E.P. got on the stage and began to MC in DJ Shevtsov's ear while he introduced himself as an American DJ & MC touring in Russia. Shevtsov immediately loved the sound of MIC E.P.'s voice and allowed him to perform live as an MC during his entire DJ Set. After the gig, Shevtsov asked MIC E.P. to come to record his voice on a track in the studio. MIC E.P. wrote the original text for the male and female vocals to Moscow Girls. The song was created in November 2008 at Club Rai in the studio above the club. The original track was called JULIA(named after Julia Belle) and written by DJ NOIZ. MIC E.P. met NOIZ at the studio and decided to write some words for the theme of the song. Shevtsov and NOIZ told MIC to rap about GIRLS, MONEY, CARS, CLUBS, MOSCOW and such things. MIC E.P. wrote down the lyrics for the song in 3 minutes and stepped into the vocal recording studio to capture the song. DJ Shevtsov and DJ NOIZ knew immediately they had a HIT song on their hands if they could manage to find the right track to use for the vocals. They added the vocals to the orginal instrumental JULIA to create MOSCOW GIRLS. The song was then remixed again and mastered by DJ NOIZ. DJ Shevtsov wanted to give the acapella of MIC E.P. to foreign electro house producers such as Houseshaker, Christopher S, Dave Ramone and Mike Candys. Houseshaker was the first to respond with a BOMB HIT remix of Moscow Girls in July of 2009. By September the song had become a #1 club hit in Moscow Clubs and started to make every DJ crazy for the song. In October 2009, DJ Sergeev completed another remix of Moscow Girls. And in November 2009 Dave Ramone completed his remix of Moscow Girls. More great remixes will soon be released on major record labels. If you like the song, please remember that any version would only be a normal electro house track without the intense vocal MCing of MIC E.P.
