"SY-99 has one of the best synth engines ever. Each of the 16 FM voices contains 6 operators with very complex envelopes, different waveforms and a multi-mode digital filter, the 16 AWM voices uses samples (in ROM or in non volatile RAM) and the same digital filters, you can stack two voices of each type, and you can use any sample as an FM operator. Also the integrated F/X processor was a reference in its time.

"If you look at the keyboard and bank/operator layout you can really see that it is the motif's grandparent. it was the most advanced workstation in the world in those days... And i dare anyone to show me a similar (which means with the same possibilities and market) synth with such great FM potential in it! Кстати, этот синтезатор использовали в своей работе такие композиторы, как Вангелис и Chick Corea, а в России, например, Ласковый май )

Трек записан полностью на основе тембров Yamaha SY99 (дополнительных, конечно).

Программная обработка только на уровне секвенсера и автоматизации + некоторые эффекты пост-обработки. При этом все тембры синтезированы на Ямахе.

Можно сказать, это в некотором роде экспериментальная работа, первая в таком плане для меня. Приятного прослушивания..
