MAGIK FESTIVAL
Magik Festival is a small psychedelic family reunion that takes place in one of the most astonishing volcanic landscapes of Guatemala. The place makes us feel as if we travel back to the beginning of time, closer the core of the earth.

We wish to create a safe space for psychedelic experiences and to bring you closer to (your) nature. It our highest aim to build a culture of peace in a country that has suffered years of conflict and oppression. Love, peace, tolerance, solidarity and respect are our basic principles.

Through out the years we have brought the finest forest and dark psychedelic producers from the world, to open the energy vortex and reset our mind/spirit and elevate our consciousness to realize that we are all one (in this together).

In this edition we raise awareness for the water of our planet, the water in our bodies, we will co-create a sonic ritual with the full moon and come together with of other parts of the world to heal the torrents of fresh and salty water.

The vision
Manifesting Consciousness

We manifest the consciousness that arises from the healing power of sound and dance in close connection with our micro and macrocosm. We manifest the awareness that comes from the respect and knowledge of sacred plants and molecules that help us awaken and decolonize our consciousness and therefor change our perception and actions in this planet.

¡We are movement, we are a community, we are the people!

Guatemala means land of forests and there are 700 licenses for mine exploration and explotation given to multinational companies without the consent of the communities.

The lakes are drying up, the rivers are dying, the earth is manifesting herself and the people are ready to defend her. The loot of the land and the concessions given to hydroelectrics and mining companies without the consent of the people symbolizes great acts of corruption and violence.

Our stance is to enter a time of consciousness and communion with our sister and brothers of all walks of lives, resistances and struggles. To join them is an act of collective responsibility for the life and the dignity of our people and for the present and future of our mother earth.

We invite everyone to manifest themselves against indifference, to dance to awaken the collective consciousnesses with the movements and sounds that arise in art, ritual and reconstruction.

If we want to transform our shared reality we must first transform our inner reality. We need a profound change in consciousness and spirituality to generate actions that unites from the roots.
