Philip Antonenko a.k.a. Oira is a russian techno/house producer from St.Petersburg. His romance with music started in early childhood, when he was 4 years old and listened to the opera "Jesus Christ Superstar" with great interest. Later in school he played guitar in a local band and everything was as usual until he came to be in a techno club for the first time in his life in the middle of the 90's. What he heard there turned his notion of music upside-down and with appearance of an own PC electronic experiments started to take place. Progressing little by little as a producer Philip moved forward and one day found himself not on the dancefloor, but on the stage behind the laptop. Since 2003 (the official birth of the project Oira) he has performed live acts (and later dj sets as well) in all adequate clubs of St. Petersburg and Moscow, and in some other cities like Kazan, Cheboksary, Minsk, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Tallin. He has shown up in several compilations and in 2006 released debut album "Underwater" on the local label Cheburec. Unfortunately by now Oira is not a part of Nervmusic community any more.
