Alex Utec (real name - Yudin Alexey Nikolaevich, also known under the pseudonym Puppenspieler) is a Russian-Ukrainian electronic musician, producer and DJ originally from Crimea. Works in the genres of techno, house, drum and bass, actively combining live instruments with electronic music.

Alexey has been involved in music since a young age, being a drummer and guitarist, and began his DJ career at the age of 20. His deep understanding of rhythm, live experience and musical erudition have formed a unique style that combines melody and industrial expression. In his works, he strives for authenticity, experiments with textures, grooves and rich dramatic forms.

Alexey's career spans more than ten years of active work in the club and festival industry. In 2014, he became a resident of the Fallout Promo party series, later - festivals and venues such as Extreme Crimea, Pirate Station, Befooz, MAZE Fest, Badaboom, ZCity, Сrimean DnB Alliance, ULEY, Sekta Rave, RITMO and others. Since 2018, he has been a resident of the Mriya Resort (Yalta), and since 2020 - the Nefigase club in Sevastopol. Also in 2017-2019, he was a resident of the TrancEuphoria radio station.

Under the pseudonym Puppenspieler, he has released a number of releases on European and Russian labels:

2017 — «Walking Dead» and «Artificial Future» (SN Records), mini-album «Corium» (Egaita Sounds)
Since 2022, he has been using the pseudonym Alex Utec. In the same year, the single «Tophet» was released on Feel Hype Black, and in 2025 — the track «Omerta» on the label Mustache Crew Records.

Yudin is also known for his joint performances with artists representing both the electronic and live scenes: Gvozd, Teddy Killerz, Magnetude, Smoky D, Tesla, Tobax, DJ Lena Popova, DJ TsvetkoFF, DJ Rublev, DJ List, as well as with popular Russian artists - Uma2rman, Smyslovye Gallyutsinatsii, Irina Dubtsova, Natalia Podolskaya, Diskoteka Avaria, Timur Rodriguez.

His work was influenced by such projects as Stephan Bodzin, Gesaffelstein, Noisia, Infected Mushroom, Shpongle, Igorrr, The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers.

He was in the TOP-100 DJ and TOP-100 Drum & Bass artists according to the portal promodj.com in the period 2017-2019.
