Featuring on Above Beyond's recent "Anjunabeats Volume 9", Jaytech's "Overdrive" is the latest effort from the prolific Australian and takes a more hypnotic route than normally associated with his sound.

A glistening, groove-laden progressive builder that layers waves of melodic textures, "Overdrive" eventually arrives at a dramatic breakdown climax - teasing out the anticipation before a laser-lit drop. Already a firm favourite in the earlier half of Above Beyond's DJ sets, "Overdrive" is another sign of Jaytech's current creativity.

Russian star PROFF adds one of his instantly recognisable, hip-wiggling 80s-indebted basslines to his bright, bubbly remix. Whilst retaining the original's melodic spirit, PROFF's remix captures a totally contrasting vibe - full of upbeat melodies and energetic groove.
