Онанизм — чрезвычайно широко распространенное явление в животном мире. О. можно встретить у обезьян, собак, кошек, лошадей, быков и даже слонов. В царской России О. был широко распространен и среди людей. Великая Октябрьская Социалистическая Революция с корнем подорвала основы этого буржуазного явления.
