Context :

This Radio Show was one I Presented / Produced Live every Saturday Lunchtime in 1991.

Radio Witham was the Hospital Radio Station broadcasting to Grantham Hospital 365 Days of the Year from a 'Porta-Cabin' in the Hospital grounds.
I mentioned a couple of times that "All the Music is on CD" - because in those Days - CD was the Newest Format - long before MP3 was readily available or in use.

Throughout the 90s I used 12" Vinyl & CD & sometimes MiniDisc - although MD was mostly used for my Jingles / Promos / Intros & Music Beds etc. As they were robust for frequent use & brilliant for editing on - in real-time - down to Tenths-of-a-Second - when MP3 Editing was still in its infancy !

These shows were recorded - as they were broadcast - onto TDK Metal Cassettes in Technics Tape Decks & so they've retained the original CD Quality Sound - all the way from October 1991 until Playback into MP3 in April 2024 !!!

I found a load of these shows on Cassettes in a box in my Loft so I decided to Upload a little bit of Audio History . . .
