Right from the start in 2001, SCHWARZ & FUNK has stood for the development of deep, experimental sound spaces, created through compositional and musical simplicity, combined with finely dosed virtuosity and refinement through expansive space design. The sound artists consistently seek the symbiotic fusion of the electronic music world with lively acoustic elements and always strive to explore and expand the limits of spatial sound art. As inspiration and at the same time as an artistic form of expression, they use productions referred to as deep chillout music, sophisticated lounge tunes, and soulful house vibes that draw from the authentic Ibizan lifestyle of the chill-out culture.

SCHWARZ & FUNK is also involved in exciting projects such as the development of a sound design for exhibition stands (Vorwerk Flooring), the combination of music and journalism (The Outlaw Ocean Music Project by Pulitzer Prize winner Ian Urbina - New York Times), or the use of their tracks in movies (Loveless by Andrey Zvyagintsev). There is also SCHWARZ & FUNK as a live experience in different settings and line-ups.
