Hello dear friends,

I hope that this message finds you all well, I have news, please read on;

Those that have been with me all the way on my musical journey will know that I've been creating weekly mix’s and much more for about 12 years now and overall, this remains a pleasure.

However, after so many years of making sure that every week there’s a broadcast as well as the monthly broadcasts of my 2 hour ‘In The Zone’ mix’s, my web radio host work +++ frankly, my own enjoyment has taken a hit as there is so much work and time demands which are now impacting my own musical pleasure and lifestyle... this is something that I will not allow so I need to make changes.

These changes will give me more time back. I don’t mind working hard and with music it’s always a pleasure, but I need more time to ‘breathe’ again so these changes will facilitate that.

The time has now come so I am going to implement changes as follows:

Firstly, I'm going to stop the weekly broadcasts of Guido’s Lounge Café as well as monthly broadcasts of  the ‘In The Zone’ series.  I want the pleasure I have in mixing to become what it was originally, a deeply personal hobby that I enjoy curating so much. To get back to that I'm going to take a step back from all of this.

Rest assured that I will not be stopping completely but from this point on, I will upload mixes at my own leisure as crucially, this gives me the time back to make more considered mix’s across different genres, mix themes as well as ‘story’ mix’s (which are my favorites to produce btw).

Essentially, I want the time pressure off me so, I'm still going to produce my mixes but not on a weekly basis. I really don’t know how often I will upload the mixes so we will see but the bigger point is that the time has come to think a little more about myself and my family time. The mixes I will be producing will be different as they will be longer, even more considered as I have that time back as well as higher quality. Then I will make the special editions, this is how I will proceed from January ‘22

I’m confident that all of you will understand and I’m also sure that there are some who will not like buy hey, cie la vie, it’s my life and it must work for me or else, the pleasures dissipate, and I cannot allow that because of the sheer pleasure that music gives me, THAT is at the core of these changes, I’m confident that all music-lovers will understand this sentiment.

To my Select listeners; Hang in there please, more quality is coming!

I want to thank you all for the trust you have put in me all those years and we will stay in touch for sure.

To the Artists and Labels; keep sending me music! I will still produce my mixes, but now in a higher quality and with special one-off theme mixes as well

To the Radio stations; I’m sorry my friends, we had a great time, maybe I will come back with another structure once I have achieved my primary objective of getting more time back in my life, lets see.

Finally, thank you all for your ongoing support as I make these changes of which I’m very confident, will take my work and the GLC brand to new levels as I am also in discussions with other creative professionals and other parties regarding an expansion of the whole GLC brand overall...more to come in due course…watch this space my musical friends and associates. Who knows the future…there could be a real-world Lounge Café with myself and rotating guest DJ’s in your own country dear reader... ?.
