Samsung with its Bada OS and Touchwize GUI are not cool, still raw, Koreans arre too much focused only in HD development. (like the first AMOLED model)  and flexible PCB are not durable.
Nokia suffers from many MD & HD shortages due to not effective management of its outsourcing.
LG still sucks w/ its SW GUI, their cannot understand that ID, MD & HD are not all to enable take leadership among A brands.
Blackberry sucks w/ its Touch flagman slider w/ smaller screen and weaker IC processor, for 30-40% poorer than iPhone 4 & Samsung Wave. RIM Apps Market store is loosing its market share as there are no accessible and free apps  and it is really. QWERTY keypad is not  know how to the rest playesra now for 2 years.
Google Gmail & MSN Live Hotmail are actually turned to be push email sevices, so Blackberry should provide more free biz apps and features for free. 
Lenovo is cool in China and close to HTC & Samsung in domestic market, but very costy.
Japanese Sharp, NEC & Toshiba are expolring 3D video and hybrid batteries but their design and SW are sucks, they lost shares in Russian market finally.
Motorolla is recovering but lost it all in Russian market.
Also say good bye to Sony Ericsson, Acer, HP (ex-Plam), Pantech. 
The rest players (UK- Moscow based Fly, Alcatel, Korean Ezze) using Taiwanese SW solutions by Mediatek, which forthcoming MT Star and MT6236 chipsets platforms are moderately advanced.
