Studio 54 was an iconic nightclub in New York City, active in the late 1970s, that became synonymous with the disco era. Opened in 1977 by Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager, the club was located in a former TV studio on Manhattan’s West 54th Street. Its name, "Studio 54," derived from its location. Known for its glamorous, extravagant parties, Studio 54 attracted celebrities like Andy Warhol, Mick Jagger, Cher, and many other figures from the art, music, and fashion worlds.

Studio 54 was famous for its boundary-pushing atmosphere, with unique décor, massive disco balls, and vibrant lighting.
