Funky Heartbeats is based in Los Angeles. He was born in South Korea and moved to the US in the early 90's. He fell in love with the Chicago house music scene and started DJing ever since. He focuses on jazzy funky disco house music and was a resident DJ in San Francisco before moving down to Los Angeles. He gets his inspiration from surfing the waves of California beaches and shares his mixes on his YouTube channel 'Funky Heartbeats'.
