meHiLove, the esteemed Ukrainian veteran, has contributed to our imprint since 2011, with such classics as "Solace" and his more recent remix of eleven.five and Arielle Maren's "Remember." Known for productions that drip with hurts-so-good sentimentality, meHiLove graces us with a brand new 3-track offering, which comes alive with emotive instrumental textures and vocal elements alike.

The EP kicks off with the lush title cut, "Afterlight." A club-centric, deep-progressive groove creates the foundation, upon which a sensual, after-hours aura is crafted. The percussion and rhythm remain minimal, permitting the atmospheric effects and subtle melodies to control the listener's attention, as they change and evolve with each new compositional turn. More specifically, the synthesized plucks create a driving sense of urgency and are paired perfectly with the more organic tones of the piano and vocals. In the breakdown, a haunting vocal motif is joined by an equally heartrending piano theme, the combination of which proves undeniably poignant.
