About

Because i respect the "Romanian Folklore" and the musicians who put the foundations of "Romanian Music" , i created this song, with samples used from a melody recorded in 1938, interpreted by "Taraful lui Nae Burlan" from Rovinari (a city from region Gorj, Oltenia, south west of Romania - Europe).

The band (Taraful) it was consisted of : Nicolae Burlan (said Patatu), soloist and guitarist Ilinca Burlan, violinist Constantin Burlan, guitarist Ion Burlan and bassist Dumitru Burlan. In 1938 they were discovered by Constantin Brailoiu (a Romanian composer and internationally ethnomusicologist), during some monographic research. In the same year, the band is invited to Bucharest (the capital of Romania) to be recorded on gramophone records.
