Release info: With a body of work already behind him on Apollo, Particles is thrilled to announce the full release of Dapple Apple's "Hubble Sphere", originally part of the now hugely influential "Spring Particles 2012" compilation that has generated high-profile full releases from Scotty.A, Biologik, and most recently, Sound Process' "Brain Notes". The Ukrainian, Dapple Apple, from the industrial heartland of Donetsk, has seen his reputation as a multi-faceted master of the house genre grow substantially since he first burst onto the EDM scene in 2010. A first release saw him form a relationship with Eastern European powerhouse, Silk Records, where "Cognac 1994" set a benchmark on the Arrival imprint for further work to be released on Silk Textures, Silk Digital and a number one status on Proton Radio as host of the Silk Textures radio show. Included here, the original is an expertly crafted, driving progressive house gem. A bevy of rich and filtered lead lines, delayed stabs and effects ease their way across a background of swung rhythms, reminding listeners exactly why Dapple Apple's unique track is deserving of renewed attention from Australia and Germany. Australian Kieran Krohn is a rapidly growing and evolving artist on the Particles roster. His exceptional work in reinterpreting Exoplanet's complex "Planetarium" was a clear indication of the Queenslander's talent which has shone brightly on his work for Lowbit, Micro Digital and the excellent "Ganymede" for Tvardovsky's Stereo Paradise imprint. With a full release of his own "Spring Particles" track "Fusion" set for imminent release and a brand new "FutureForm" label already lined up to take to the virtual shelves by storm with the unrivalled quintet of Quivver DNYO, Cid Inc and Kassey Voorn on board, Verve has taken on "Hubble Sphere" with usual aplomb. Sensitive to Dapple Apple's original work, this a slightly more stripped back affair with a range of chunky, textured effects and original melodic elements building gradually before being unleashed into deep, rhythm-drenched, dance-floor territory in the final movement. This is production work from a man who clearly has an abundance of production skills at his disposal. Situated on the Elbe River, the important medieval city of Magdeburg plays host to the production talents of Mischa Mischer. From its walls, the German has forged a reputation for producing high-quality house music in all its forms. Armed with a distinctive house vibe to call his own, Mischa first came to the attention of the Particles team through his work for Ryan Davis' Klangwelt label, and a deep progressive remix of N'to's "Django". Further testament to the quality and popularity of his work can also be found by his presence in the Beatport chill-out top ten chart with the original track, "Space", on the MUM UK Manchester label. Applying his skills to "Hubble Sphere", Mischer has provided a fine progressive offering with subtle deep house elements. A strong driving beat dominates as percussive rhythms skip playfully alongside and melodic components further generate an impressive sense of dance-floor flair. Two sublime remixes from Verve and Mischa Mischer ensure that Dapple Apple is in no danger of retreat within the expanding universe of his "Hubble Sphere".
