From young years, getting musical education to playing the violin, Yarik understood that music will occupy basic part of his life. Had been for the first time on an underground party in "Shelter", the place which was the epicentre of all progressive young people in home town Kyiv (1999-2000), Yarik Intra felt deep interest to creation of electronic music.

"Interest to the computer synthesis of sounds was generated in me interest to creation electronic music. By this interest in a great deal, I indebted to the unusual psychedelic sound which first heard on "RadioActivnost" in "Transmutatsia" radio show by Kuzma Pubert in 1997. After, there was CD with the Dance Machine program purchased by me, using which I created the first primitive tracks, and then put them on school disco". Yarik’s musical taste was formed under influence the end of 90^th rave culture and "RadioActivnost" radio station. From music of such projects as The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, F.S.O.L., Underworld and Daft Punk to neoromantics of Depeche Mode and funk of Jamiroquai, st. Germain, music labels - Naked Music, Ninja Tunes, !K7 Records.

In 2002 there was an acquaintance with DJ's Afterworks, when he got the first meet with DJ’s art and working as a club promoter. "Every bright moment in my life is related to favourite music, its can be love story (Layo&Bushwaka "Love Story" (2003)), or big open airs (Underworld "2 month off" (2003)), or sunset on festival "Kazantip 2002" with wonderful work - Bent "Always", or big raves with Green Velvet "La la land".

An acquaintance with Sasha Zhizhchenko (Alex Junior, founder of the Ukrainian electronic project Tomato Jaws) on his own Innertion Records studio in 2003 gave a start to deep infatuation for deep house music, also deep techno in future, and more self-critics and professional vision on Intra musical perception philosophy. The internal aesthetics always influenced on his musical taste, what caused fascination of ArtHouse.

Now Yarik Intra plays music which can give possibilities "to dancin’ and have fun”, or listening deep intellectual sound, by other words "music for the soul and body".

“I buy and listening different music from different labels”. All from acid jazz, blues and funk to nuDisco, deep house, deep techno, tech house, soul full, chicago jackin' house, experimental electronics.

"I’m mixing different styles of music, because I love high-quality music of different genres. I am musical aesthete, and in my life too! The secret of musician success is harmonious music compilation, which you are playing for people. Because all electronic music was began from mixing of basic genres, by transformation and permanent experiment. Its can be jazz or blues, which sound we can hear in modern techno".

Today he is not only dj and producer, also is technical director of "AB Creative" Event Company, creator of thematic and private parties in the capital.

С юных лет, получая музыкальное образование игры на скрипке, Ярик так или иначе понимал что музыка займет основную часть его жизни. Попав впервые на underground вечеринку в “Shelter”, место которое было эпицентром движения всей прогрессивной молодежи родного города Киева (1999-2000 гг.), Ярик Intra почувствовал глубокий интерес к созданию электронной музыки. “Интерес к компьютерному синтезу звуков породил во мне интерес к созданию электронной музыки. Этим интересом во многом я обязан необычному психоделическому звучанию, которое впервые услышал на “РадиоАктивность” в передаче “Трансмутация” Кузьмы Pubert’а в 1997 г. После был купленный мною диск с программой Dance Machine 2, с помощью которой я создавал свои первые примитивные треки, а потом ставил их на школьных диско.”

Вкус Ярика формировался под влиянием rave-культуры конца 90-х и радиостанции «РадиоАктивность». В 2002 году было знакомство с DJ’s Afterworks, когда он получил первые навыки искусства DJing’а и работы клубным промоутером. “Каждый яркий момент в моей жизни связан с любимой музыкой, будь это love story (Альбом Layo&Bushwaka “Love Story” (2003)), или загородние open air’s (Underworld “2 month off” (2003)), или рассвет на “Каzaнтипе 2002” с прекраснейшим творением Bent “Always”, или плотные и яркие рейвы под Green Velvet “La la land.”

Знакомство с Сашей Жижченко (Alex Junior, основатель украинского электронного проекта Tomato Jaws) на его собственной студии Innertion Records в 2003 году дало толчок глубокому увлечению deep house музыкой, а также в дальнейшем deep techno, и более самокритичному и профессиональному взгляду на философию музыкального восприятия Intra. Внутреннее эстетство всегда влияло на его музыкальный вкус, что и вызвало увлечение ArtHouse направлением.

Сейчас Ярик Intra играет музыку, под которую можно “поплясать и повеселиться”, или послушать глубокий интеллектуальный sound, иными словами “музыку для души и тела”. “Я покупаю и слушаю разную музыку с разных лейблов”. Все от acid jazz’a, blues и funk’a до nuDisco, deep house, deep techno, tech house, soul full, chicago jackin’ house, experimental electronics…

“Я смешиваю разные стили музыки, потому что люблю качественную музыку различных жанров. Я - эстет в музыке, и по жизни! Секрет успеха музыканта и та тонкая нить состоит в гармоничной компиляции материала, которым ты делишься с людьми. И это не просто так, ведь вся электронная музыка возникла от смешивания основных жанров, путем трансформации и постоянного эксперимента. Будь это jazz или blues, звучание которого мы можем услышать в современном techno.”

Сегодня он не только dj и producer, но и технический директор event компании “AB Creative”, организатор тематических и закрытых вечеринок столицы, музыкальный эстет, светский персонаж, и просто человек, получающий удовольствие от жизни и музыки.
