It all started back in 1996, when Sergei Sharapov (03/02/1986) being a student while the third class, he decided to enroll in music school, and to comprehend the basics of music education chose the first game of the accordion, which he loved since childhood, and then guitar, piano and balalaika, where he played in the school orchestra. Education was given to him easily, since doing things you love are always fun and interesting. All this time Sergei is very fond of modern popular music, especially his tastes tended toward such musical styles as a Euro disco and, later, Eurodance. Idols of the time were such performers and groups as "E-Type", "E-Rotic", "Ace Of Base", "Mr. President" and many others, but it's especially good for the soul music was a German musician and producer Dieter Bohlen with his dance project "Blue System". Maybe that's where melody, rhythm and sound evolved its existing songs. 

Meanwhile, in 2000, Sergei graduated from music school. In his testimony was only five, and only one triple in solfege (musical notation), but it's not because he did not like the subject, but only because it fails passed the final exam.

In 2001, Sergei, finished 9 th grade, decides to leave school to learn a profession and entered the College of Engineering at the SSU Department of "Chemical and petroleum engineering." It was in college, he started writing his own songs and decided to start a band. Due to the lack of it if the right tools and, accordingly, the difficulties with the implementation arrangements, his songs at that time were just as scores, which were spelled out the main theme and the vocals. Sly songs were written, but the case was moving slowly as there were difficulties to recruit members of the group and provide them with tools. All attempts to create a functioning team in these years have not been to his success.

In 2005, Sergei finishes college and gets a qualification of junior specialist. In his diploma with honors were only four fours and he continued his studies at the Sumy State University (SSU) Faculty of Engineering at the Department of Engineering Thermophysics, specializing in compressors, pnevmoagregaty and vacuum technology. " All the while he continued to write songs, and already thinking about a higher level - to make his music known and to promote it on the radio, but he had written tracks for particular popularity were not.

In 2008, he finished with honors from SSU master's degree and decides to continue his postgraduate studies and to protect the dissertation for the degree of candidate of technical sciences. But it will be only in October 2008 and until August, he gets a job in the engineering department as a design engineer, where he met his future partner and colleague Lex King. Guys almost immediately became friends, thanks to a similar musical tastes, and most importantly the willingness to do a quality musical product and promote it to the top of the charts. 

In 2008, Sergei was due to computer-based music software somewhere creates its first full-length tracks, and Alex helps him with the arrangements. After a while Sergei and Alex decides to create a group and promote their music on the music market. The initial group was called "G-Force", but in 2009 the guys took another new name - "X-treme", which is more suited to their style and vision of music.

In late 2009, when they already had enough material from which it was possible to create a promotional drive a new problem arose that needed immediate solutions. The fact is that before their tracks were entirely instrumental, and to record vocals needed a vocalist.

2010 was more than fruitful. Sergei wrote new songs that were already higher style and performance. The band has clearly developed a particular style of music and distinctive features - the presence of the piano part, and variations with a change of melody and transitions in tone for the track is one of their business cards. That's why guys have defined his style of music as Dream Dance, Dream Trance.

During 2008-2010, Sergei Sharapov wrote about 30 songs from which you want to form a first EP for the promotion of the group and then a full-fledged debut album. But in early 2011, Alex has stopped actively cooperate with Sergei as an arranger of his songs and, eventually, the name "X-treme" was the stage name of Sergei under which he continued to work.

In March 2011 Sergey decided to independently carry out the arrangement of tracks and 4 of its debut EP formed a group called "X-treme - One Night In Heaven (Extended Play)". Specially for this release Sergey made two mix quite energetic and tempo tracks One Night in Heaven and Calling Your Name, as well as the recorded track Turn Back Time (Come Into My Dreams) in the piano arrangement. The only slow track on the EP - it's You Are My One And Only is also released in an expanded version with the guitar samples and piano solos that adorned the melody and added the sound of sensibility and penetration, as in the song about love. While working on the release of Sergei was a lot of different thoughts and zadumok, and to translate some of them in life, it was decided to release also an instrumental version of the EP, which is called "X-treme - One Night In Heaven (Instrumental Extended Play)". It includes the same 4 tracks, but in the original arrangements and format radio versions (ie duration of time adapted to the radio broadcast). Third track Turn Back Time (Come Into My Dreams) as recorded in its original form.

Now that the musical material for their debut EP is ready, we can only bring it all together, record vocals and make the cover.

Release their debut EP in two versions, "X-treme - One Night In Heaven (Extended Play)" and "X-treme - One Night In Heaven (Instrumental Extended Play)" is scheduled for April 2011.

Все началось еще в 1996 году, когда Сергей Шарапов (03.02.1986) будучи тогда учеником 3-го класса, решил записаться в музыкальную школу, и для постижения азов музыкального образования выбрал сначала игру на аккордеоне, который он любил еще с детства, а затем на гитаре, фортепиано и балалайке, на которых он играл в школьном оркестре. Обучение давалось ему легко, так как заниматься любимым делом всегда занятно и интересно. Все это время Сергей очень увлекался современной популярной музыкой, особенно его вкусы склонялись к таким музыкальным стилям как евродиско, а позже и евродэнс. Кумирами того времени были такие исполнители и группы как "E-Type", "E-Rotic", "Ace Of Base", "Mr. President" и многие другие, но особенно ему по душе была музыка немецкого музыканта и продюсера Дитера Болена с его танцевальным проектом "Blue System". Возможно именно оттуда мелодичность, ритмика и выделяющееся звучание его теперешних песен.

Между тем в 2000 году Сергей закончил музыкальную школу. В его свидетельстве были только пятерки и лишь одна тройка по сольфеджио (нотной грамоте), но это не потому что он не любил этот предмет, а лишь потому что неудачно сдал выпускной экзамен.

В 2001 году Сергей, закончив 9-й класс, решает уйти из школы для того, чтобы овладеть профессией и поступает в машиностроительный колледж СумГУ на отделение "Химическое и нефтяное машиностроение". Именно в колледже он начинает писать собственные песни и решает создать свою группу. В связи с отсутствием у него тогда подходящих инструментов и соответственно трудностями с выполнением аранжировок, его песни в то время были лишь в качестве партитур, в которых была прописана главная тема и вокальная партия. Потихоньку песни писались, но дело двигалось медленно, так как возникали трудности по набору участников группы и обеспечению их инструментами. Все попытки создать действующий коллектив в эти годы не увенчались для него успехом.

В 2005 году Сергей заканчивает колледж и получает квалификацию младшего специалиста. В его дипломе с отличием было всего четыре четверки и он продолжает учебу в Сумском государственном университете (СумГУ) на инженерном факультете на кафедре технической теплофизики по специальности "Компрессоры, пневмоагрегаты и вакуумная техника". Все это время он продолжает писать песни, и уже думает о более высоком уровне - сделать свою музыку известной и продвинуть ее на радио, но написанные им треки особой популярности не имели.

В 2008 году он с отличием заканчивает магистратуру СумГУ и решает продолжить учебу в аспирантуре и защитить диссертацию на звание кандидата технических наук. Но это будет только в октябре 2008 года, а пока в августе он устраивается на работу в конструкторский отдел инженером-конструктором, где знакомится со своим будущим напарником и коллегой Алексеем Королем (Lex King). Парни почти сразу сдружились, благодаря похожим музыкальным вкусам, а главное благодаря желанию делать качественный музыкальный продукт и продвигать его к вершинам хит-парадов.

В 2008 году Сергей уже благодаря компьютерному музыкальному софту создает свои первые полноценные треки, а Алексей помогает ему с аранжировками. Через некоторое время Сергей и Алексей решают создать группу и продвинуть свою музыку на музыкальном рынке. Первоначальное группа называлась "G-Force", но в 2009 году парни взяли новое другое название - "X-treme", которое более подходило к их стилю и видению музыки.

В конце 2009 года когда у них уже было достаточно материала, из которого можно было сформировать промо-диск возникла новая проблема, которая требовала немедленного решения. Дело в том, что до этого их треки были исключительно инструментальные, а для записи вокальных партий требовалась вокалистка.

2010 год оказался более чем плодотворным. Сергей написал новые треки, которые уже были более высокого уровня стилистики и исполнения. У группы четко выработался конкретный стиль музыки и отличительные черты - наличие фортепианных партий и вариаций с изменением мелодики и переходов в тональности для их треков являлись одной из их визитных карточек. Именно поэтому парни определили свой стиль музыки как Dream Dance, Dream Trance.

В течении 2008-2010 годов Сергей Шарапов написал около 30 песен, из которых предполагалось сформировать сначала ЕР для промоушена группы, а затем и полноценный дебютный альбом группы. Но в начале 2011 года Алексей прекратил интенсивно сотрудничать с Сергеем в качестве аранжировщика его песен и, в итоге, название "X-treme" стало творческим псевдонимом Сергея, под которым он продолжил работу.

В марте 2011 года Сергей решил самостоятельно выполнил аранжировку 4 своих треков и сформировал дебютный ЕР группы под названием "X-treme - One Night In Heaven (Extended Play)". Специально для этого релиза Сергей сделал 2 микса довольно энергичных и темповых треков One Night in Heaven и Calling Your Name, а также записал трек Turn Back Time (Come Into My Dreams) в фортепианной аранжировке. Единственный медленный трек на ЕР - это You Are My One And Only также выпущенный в расширенной версии с гитарными сэмплами и фортепианным соло, что украсило мелодию и добавило звучанию чувственности и проникновенности, ведь в песне поется о любви. В процессе работы над релизом у Сергея было много различных мыслей и задумок, и чтобы воплотить часть их в жизнь было решено выпустить также и инструментальную версию ЕР, которая называется "X-treme - One Night In Heaven (Instrumental Extended Play)". В нее вошли те же 4 трека, но в первоначальных аранжировках и в формате радио версий (то есть длительность адаптирована под время радио эфира). 3-й трек Turn Back Time (Come Into My Dreams) также записан в изначальном виде.

Теперь, когда музыкальный материал для дебютного ЕР готов, остается только свести все воедино, записать вокал и сделать обложку.

Релиз дебютного ЕР в двух версиях "X-treme - One Night In Heaven (Extended Play)" и "X-treme - One Night In Heaven (Instrumental Extended Play)" намечен на апрель 2011 года.
