Vasiliy Lyakhov (DJ Vasya Black), DJ and musician from Russia.
One of the youngest DJs who became known all over Russia due to a peculiar manner of the performance and an exceptional musical taste! He is one of the best after-party DJs in Russia. He was touring in all big Russian cities (Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, etc.) and worked with top DJs from Moscow and Saint-Petersburg!
He is a resident of a conceptual club in Perm – BLACKBAR, a DJ-resident of the LES night-club and a guest of the most clubs in Perm: CIRCUS, GLOBASS, MOLOKO, etc.
Vasya Black is a resident of international portal GEOMETRIA.RU. In 2011 he participated in a project “Geometria Royal Navigation: White Nights”. Thanks to its manner and charisma Vasya Black has become an official DJ of the castings to TV project “Russia’s next top-model” organized by major Russian musical channel MUZ-TV with the support of Geometria.ru portal.
He is a silver medalist of all-Russian Delphic Games of the modern era in nomination “DJ”. He is a participant of International Delphic Games of the modern era. In 2011 he got a presidential award for talented young people.
Besides DJ-ing, in 2010 Vasya Black started experimenting as an electronic musician. Those experiments led to a creative work with Matvey Emerson (an electronic musician who got the support of the most world-famous DJs such as Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyke). After that those tracks were rotated in radio programmes of the most prominent DJs of the world. They were also used by Armin van Buuren in his sets as well.
Thus at the present moment Vasya Black successfully combines producing and DJ-ing and is one of the most charismatic and popular DJs in most Russian clubs.
He shared the stage with such performers as Seamus Haji (UK), Alan Alvares (SPAIN), Matvey Emerson (RUS), Moonbeam (RUS), Mars Needs Lovers (RUS) and many others from all over the world.
His main musical trends are House, Vocal House, Tech House, Progressive House.
