Svilen was born in Bulgaria in the sunny little town of Kavarna, situated on the Black Sea coast. His interest in music dates back in time when he was a teenager, enjoying lots of pop-music and hip-hop. Among the everyday radio and disco trash of the 90's
he began searching for the ultimate electronic sound. The beginning were tapes of Jean Michele Jarre's "Equinox" and Enigma's "MCMXC a.D.", followed by kind of pop-things like Jam & Spoon. In 1996 Svilen was impressed by Faithless' track "Salva Mea" and was totally amazed by the first productions by Paul van Dyk- "45RPM" and "Seven Ways". Next year was followed by the unique "Far from the Maddening Crowds" CD by Chicane. For a while Svilen was interested in goa-trance. In 2002 while living in New York City he met DJ Sasha on the release of his album "Airdrawndagger". The hard but melodic sound of the album was following Svilen long time after and especially the first part of the "Requiem" track, produced by DJ Sasha, while watching 11/9 live news coverage from Downtown Manhattan. Next years Svilen was more involved in his studies and career. For all that time of course he was captivated only by the sound of the uplifting and progressive trance, nevertheless that in Bulgaria the predominant club sound was house. He followed the Trance Around The World (TATW) podcast for five years searching through the whole internet for the awesome selections by Above & Beyond. In 2009, influenced mainly by them, he launched his TranceGlobal Resolution podcast compiling the latest in trance and progressive. Other project he started were the Nu Trance Renaissance compilations of his favorite trance classics.
Besides enjoying his hobby, Svilen supports campaigns against use of drugs and condemns violence against animals. He is also actively promoting the wonderful nature of Northern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast - the village of Kamen Bryag and Yailata Reserve.
