The episode rocked, I want to marry River Song, Matt Smith is adorable and Rory and Amy are so much in love....

...and Mark Sheppard does an awesome American accent too. Matt Smith looks sexy in a beard. Every time Rory and Amy hug I feel all mushy. River Song would give any man (actually, almost anyone, sorry to sound sexist) an inferiority complex. And who the hell is that little girl who fucking REGENERATED at the end of the ep? I had a passing thought that she is the future child of River and the Doctor, but I know I am wrong, but I am entitled to have silly thoughts.

That is all and now I have a week to wait for the next ep. Ah well, at least I have H5-0, SVU, and Supernatural to tide me over and make the week go faster. But I am going through "V" withdrawal and will have to download the eps to get over it.

No, this episode does not feature Joan Crawford, and if I hear the line "No more wire hangers" I will pee in my pants.

We start with a flashback to last week's ep of Dean in a duster...swooning again.

Eve in a bar and quite an interesting, er, brawl she created.

"Cas get out of my ass."
"I was never in your...." (He's such a liar LOL)

I love Amber Benson.

"He chopped his head off, with razor wire - it was wicked."

Castiel did the right thing. Although I was sad to see Lenore come and go so quickly.

"I was expecting more Zombieland and less Pleasantville."

Bobby needs a computer, and he gets an iPad LOL.

Castiel is powerless, oh noes!

"Mom's making you limp?"
"Figuratively."

"You hurt his feelings."

"I have a painful burning sensation."

Castiel needs some tight jeans and a tee...or at least a new tie.

"You know who whines? Babies." Damn Dean, you are being so mean. Has nobody let you bottom lately?

On a sidenote, I love seeing the four of them together.

"You get to name them."
"Jefferson Starship's, because they're horrible and hard to kill." I agree, Dean.

Oh Dean you are amazing and I love you so damn much! Taking the kids to a safe place.

We hear a scream, Castiel walks out wiping the blood from his hands, but he has the answer.

Of course it's a diner, although I would have loved it to be a McDonald's - with Ronald LOL.

And they use Mommy Mary's face.

Crowley is alive and I for one am thrilled. I loved him. Come home, little Crowley, come home!

"Call it beta-testing." I love that line.

I am about to lose my Hunter's Membership card, because I didn't see that coming with the kids. Somebody shoot me with rock salt, please?

Dean ingested the Phoenix ash! Way to go!!

I so cannot wait for next week - is it Friday yet? Or even Monday, so I can get my H5-0 fix?? Oh wait, I forgot about Saturday, so I can get my Doctor Who fix and see more of Mark Sheppard, doing a nice American accent.

I have seen this on a few lists and LJ's, so I am sharing it here and, of course, giving my opinion on it....

Apparently there is going to be a "Major character death" in the final episode of the season.

My money is on Kono, mainly because I read that Grace Park has a new series in the works. It will obviously not be Steve, and I highly doubt it would be Danny, because the Danny and Steve dynamic is what not only makes this version of the show, but the original as well. Of course it may be Chin Ho. IMO, these four are the only "major" characters, unless TPTB considers Jameson or Kamekona or Rachel, but I consider anyone else secondary. And Kam Fong's Chin Ho was killed off in the original and the show survived for 2 seasons without him. (I can't remember if the original Kono was killed off - does anybody know?)

Will I miss any characters? Yes. Will I stop watching? No. Even if TIIC were to be so bold as to kill off Danny, I'd still watch, and of course write 'fixer' fics. I like the eye candy, I fully admit it, but yes, I do watch for the plot also, because I don't care how good-looking the guys or girls are, if a show sucks, it ain't worth watching.

And poor Dean, obviously expecting so much more from the saloon. And Dean should have read up more on 19th century saloons - the places may have been occasionally rowdy (although in this case almost dead) but the girls were never spectacular. Most had STD's and from photos I have seen from that time-period, looked like death personified.

I love Sam's reaction to Darla hitting on Dean.

And we come to this evenings ep, which I was tempted to boycott due to the guest and if you are a Supernatural fan, you probably know why (and if you don't the explanation is under the cut). But I will not do without my weekly episode where Steve and Danny call each other ~~"Babycakes" and "Studmuffin"~~ "Steven and Danno," burst into hotel rooms to ~~use the bed and the bathtub~~ arrest suspects, have ~~a romantic dinner with candles and good wine~~ Sno-cones, and ~~make out and skinny-dip at the beach~~ share beer and clink their bottles together while sitting on the sand.

How many remember when P Diddy's bitching 'forced' Twitter to take down the SPN Trending Topic "Lucifer Is Coming"? For those that don't know, the story is Here, amongst other places. But I will take this episode of H5-0 as a separate entity and not allow the past to influence my judgment on the present.

I feel as if every episode recap should begin with scenery of Hawaii.

Aww, I love family reunions. And you knew it was going to end badly whether you saw the promo or not.

Kamekona is making Steve breakfast LOL. I LOVE IT!! And the apron!!

I love Steve with kids. Now how come we don't get this side of him in canon with Grace?

I'm sorry, but I have to repeat what I have said in the past - Grace Park looks friggin' anorexic. And I know anorexic.

Of course the bad guy's son is a good guy and a preservationist to boot. Why can't the son be evil? Or maybe he is evil. That would be a nice twist. And Dad is shocked that his son did it.

Much as I enjoyed Kono climbing up there, it was kind of unrealistic to me. But that is me.

You knew Steve was gonna drive the car through the pseudo-gate. And once again they don't wear seat belts - Danny chooses to put his on when he realizes what Steve is going to do. I want a fic where they get ticketed for that.

I love Keith David.

Now Danny is wearing his seat belt. And so is Steve.

Danny's right about Steve's choices of books if he went by the book - "Patriot act for dummies? How to nuke your enemies? War and Peace minus the peace?"

But in the next scene in the car, while Chin is talking to them, is Danny's seatbelt off?

And does the show have stock in blue shirts??

"Lady, I answer to God and to the Governor...."

And why couldn't I do something like that to make my ex-husbands life miserable? I should have been a Fed.

Danny is not so computer illiterate - or he has been taking lessons from Chin. (Okay, this should inspire Danny/Chin fics or Steve/Danny fics where Steve gets jealous because he thinks Danny is cheating on him with Chin. But all Danny is doing is taking computer lessons. GO FORTH AND WRITE!)

Reggie ripped the IV out - I love it!

OH FUCK! IT WAS THE SON!! (Does this mean I've been watching too many crime dramas?) But I never thought he would betray his father. I REALLY liked that twist.

Hmmm - does this mean we will get a sequel ep with Reggie? No, I do not forgive P. Diddy for Twitter, but I think he did a good job in this ep.

Opinions: What To Spend My Tax Refund On....

Should I use my tax refund for this? Or should I use it to catch up on bills, buy the new printer I so desperately need, get my daughter some new clothing (also needed), get Matthew something for graduation, get my ChiCon and plane tickets, and maybe treat me and Elizabeth to a few nice dinners out? Decisions, decisions....(snickers uncontrollably).

...watching Jonah Hex (a comic book favorite of mine) and seeing yet another unbilled cameo from Jeffrey Dean Morgan (the first was in Fred Claus). Just sayin'....and on a side note, as he gets older, Josh Brolin looks so much like his father James. And no, the movie isn't that good, the comic is far superior, but I am still enjoying it. It has John Malkovich, who I will watch in anything.

Goodbye Erica Kane

I have just discovered the sad news that ABC has opted to cancel both All My Children and One Life To Live. Both were a part of my formative years, from childhood to adulthood, although I gave them up, along with GH, in the mid 90s.

Erica Kane will forever live on in my head and whenever I think about AMC, she will come to mind. I remember her as a slutty teen and then a slutty adult, ruining everyone's lives. High point was meeting Susan Lucci and expecting a bitch, but meeting a wonderful and soft-spoken lady who smiled and was very happy to meet her fans.

Although OLTL will forever remain a classic, there is one scene which will forever and ever live on in my mind, and if you watched the show at the time, I am sure it stands out in yours, and I have a clip of it below the cut. I could not find any clips with better video.

OMG THAT SCENERY!!

Danny to the rescue! And his ass looks pretty good in those jeans. (More Danny in jeans please.) And just look at those muscles. (Swoons!)

OMG! Danny said I love you!! He made a heart with his hands!! (We are bordering on maintext here - screw subtext!)

Danny's back in shirt and tie and khakis and the shirt color was sort of faded denim blue (at least on my TV) and it is a good color on him. I like the tie too.

DDK is hot in peach. Not too many guys could pull it off. (Once again, at least it looked like peach on my TV)

Kamekona picked Steve up - too cool! I so love him, he is awesome! (In fic it would have been Danny, but Danny is working - he has a job to do.)

And now we know the truth about what happened with Chin and I wanna jump into the screen and hug him and Kono.

LJ hasn't been allowing me (and others) to post, it has been a pain in the ass, so I am making it up this eve....

I have posted this one before, but there are new folks here so I am curious....what's YOUR guilty pleasure movie? You know, those movies that you watch that other people don't seem to like, but that you can watch over and over. The ones you can quote and know scene by scene. They're sometimes really bad, actually, I think most of the time. I have a bunch, but the one I am watching now, on Encore On Demand, is "The Long Kiss Goodnight", starring Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson.

Synopsis courtesy of IMDB: Samantha Caine, suburban homemaker, is the ideal mom to her 8 year old daughter Caitlin. She lives in Honesdale, PA, has a job teaching school and makes the best Rice Krispie treats in town. But when she receives a bump on her head, she begins to remember small parts of her previous life as Charlene Elizabeth Baltimore, a lethal, top-secret agent. Her old chums in Chapter are now out to kill her so she enlists the help of a cheap detective named Mitch. As Samantha remembers more and more of her previous life, she becomes deadlier and more resourceful. Both Mitch and Charly proceed to do the killing thing, the bleeding thing and the shooting thing.

...well, I don't know if its brand new, but it is to me, called Antenna TV and last night I was watching The Monkees. What made it even cooler was that the second ep I watched had Frank Zappa in the opening, which was totally awesome. Now back when I first watched, as a little kid, I would have had no idea who Zappa or The Mothers of Invention were, but now I was grinning like a little kid. And BTW, Peter was always my favorite. Everyone else swooned over Davy (yes, he was, and still is, a cutie), but even as a tiny tot, I had to be different. So here are vids of that + Valleri (and Mike looks so into playing, you can tell and Peter is so rocking out) + one of my fav Monkee tunes "Look Out Here Comes Tomorrow".

"WHAT?!" Danny shrieked as he listened to what Chin Ho was saying.

"That new club, 'Nightshade', is a front for a major drug smuggling operation," Kono repeated for her cousin, "and one of us has to go undercover to find out who's behind it."

"I heard that part," Danny said, "it's the last part I can't get into my head."

"One of us has to go undercover as a stripper," Chin reiterated. "And it can't be Kono, because the club is 'Men Only'.

"A gay club," Danny murmured, wondering once again when and how his life began to mirror the 'Twilight Zone'. "One of us has to go undercover as a stripper in a gay club."

"It's Chin Ho or Steve," Kono added, "because you're built all wrong."

"Whaddya mean wrong?" Danny was offended. "I'm in great shape."

Kono looked him over. "I won't argue with that, Danny," she grinned, "you're built just fine, oh yes you are, but you're too...well...."

"Spit it out, Kalakaua," Danny ordered.

"You're too short," she squeaked.

"I'm too short to be a stripper?" Danny asked out loud. "There's a height requirement to take off your clothes?"

"At least 5'8"," Kono told him. "But if it was up to me, I'd hire you."

"I'm too short," Danny pouted. "I haven't been too short for anything since the high school basketball team. They didn't care that I could play; they just didn't want me because of my height."

"Rock, paper, scissors?" Chin asked Steve.

In the end, after three tries, Steve ended up beating Chin, much to Chin's chagrin.

"Do you know anything about stripping?" Danny asked Steve. "Oh wait, I forgot who I was talking to; he who takes off his shirt whenever danger is near."

"How difficult could it be?" Steve shrugged.

"You've done it before?!" Danny was more than surprised.

"Not in public!" Steve shot back. "But I've gotten undressed in front of people. I'll just practice with some music."

"You taking your clothes off, all of your clothes, in front of a roomful of strangers." Danny threw up his hands in disgust as he stormed from the office. "I give up!"

"Too much caffeine," Steve muttered, and then turned to Chin and Kono. "I'm heading home."

"How are you getting there?" Kono asked.

"Danny was running late today so I drove myself."

"You remember how to drive something other than the Camaro?" She asked with a smirk. "I'm shocked."

"Very funny." But Steve did smile. "Call me if you need me."

"Will do, boss," the cousin's replied.

On Sunday night Danny brought Grace back to Rachel, went out to eat and had a couple of beers, and somehow found himself parked outside Steve's house. He got out with the full intention of talking his partner out of this stupid assignment. Steve didn't need to do this to prove - what exactly did Steve need to prove? That he could go undercover? He'd done it before.

Then why did this particular assignment bother him so much? Danny blew the question off - he didn't need a reason for anything when it came to Steve. He knocked on the front door and was just about to use the key Steve had given him when he heard loud music towards the back of the house. Walking to the rear, he stepped onto the lanai and peered through the window. Danny recognized the artist - Joe Cocker - the voice was unmistakable, but the song was unknown to him. And then it didn't matter, because Steve was a sight to behold.

Steve was wearing a dress jacket, jeans, shoes and - Danny blinked, certain he was seeing wrong - Steve McGarrett was wearing a tie.

Steve's jacket was opened, his arms bending backwards, the jacket sliding down his long arms, landing at a pool by his feet. Bending over, Steve unlaced his right shoe and slid it off. The left followed and Steve smoothly dropped to a sitting position, bent each knee and pulled off his socks.

Danny's eyes bugged out of his head, thinking, 'Who knew taking off socks could be so hot?'

The song changed and Danny heard the opening riff to "Pour Some Sugar On Me."

Steve sprang to his feet with the movements of a lithe jungle cat and undid his tie, starting off by loosening the knot. He pulled at it and it came undone and slid it from around his neck. He clenched it in his fingers, pulling it side to side, and then let it drop. He undid the top two buttons of the dress shirt and began to sway his hips. His eyes closed as he let the music fill him. The shirt was untucked and the other five buttons were opened. He pulled at the left side of the shirt and threw his head back, then released it, his fingers caressing the right side of the fabric. He yanked at the right sleeve, the shirt falling half off his body.

The left sleeve of Steve's shirt followed and the shirt also dropped to the floor. Steve's hips were moving in the most obscene manner and his tongue snaked out a tiny bit, licking his upper lip. Gripping the top of his tee he pulled, and the shirt ripped down the middle. Steve fell on his knees and his hands slid up his chest, tweaking each nipple, thrusting his hips out, undulating them in a downward spiral.

Danny's mouth dropped open.

Steve's head dropped to his chest, twisting his nipples and biting on his lower lip; he was in ecstasy.

"We have to go to work; it's Monday," Danny reminded him.

"Ah, but I have an in with the boss." Steve put the tray on the dresser. "Five-0 is taking the day off, executive decision."

"Why?"

"So you can eat pancakes and...." Steve paused - Danny looked like he was ready to bolt. "Danny, I can see something's the matter. What is it?"

"I didn't mean it, Steve, what I said last night. It was the moment, that's all." Danny swallowed hard. "You know how I babble and when I said 'I love you' it didn't mean anything."

"Of course it didn't," Steve said quickly. "I knew that. I'll call Chin Ho and Kono and tell them work is back on for today."

"As long as you know." While Steve called the other half of their team back, Danny took another step to the door, and then took a closer look at the pancakes. He stared at them, waiting for Steve to get off the phone "Steve, why are the pancakes red?"

"Uh, strawberries?"

"But you hate strawberries," Danny pointed out. "You never buy them." He picked up a mug and sipped at the coffee. "This is," he took another sip, "Jamaican Blue Mountain, I'd know that taste anywhere."

"The man in the store said it was good and I know you like coffee." Steve's cheeks grew pink. "I think I ground the beans enough; it's been ages since I used the grinder."

"The store?" Danny began to think. "You went to the store at the asscrack of dawn, bought strawberries for pancakes and top of the line coffee beans for me? Why?"

"Because I love you." Steve gave him a small shrug. "But you don't have to love me back; just having you as my friend is good enough."

"You love me," Danny said aloud.

"Yes, I do."

"Why?" Danny had to know.

"I don't know; I just do." Steve ran his fingers through his hair in clear frustration. "I didn't think I needed a reason."

"You made me pancakes with real strawberries." Danny stared at the tray again and fled the room, nearly falling down the stairs and knocked over a plant, the ceramic pot shattering.

"DANNY!" Steve ran downstairs, thinking Danny had hurt himself. He saw Danny sitting against the wall, his face buried in his hands and knelt down. "Danny? Are you all right?"

Danny lifted his head, eyes welling with tears. "You made me pancakes," he squeaked, "and you love me."

"Yes, I love you, and didn't anybody ever make you breakfast?"

"Rachel burned French toast once," Danny sniffled, "but she never made me strawberry pancakes."

"Okay, Danno," Steve hauled him to his feet, dragging him to the couch, sitting him down and kneeling between his legs, "you want to tell me the real reason you're crying?"

"Nobody's made me strawberry pancakes since I was a kid." Danny wiped his face. "My Mom used to make them, and she'd go out of her way to buy fresh strawberries just for me, because nobody else liked them."

"And what else?" Steve prompted, knowing there was more.

"I thought I - I don't know - scared you off by saying 'I love you,' Danny admitted.

"Are you saying you love me, too?"

"Yes, that's what I'm saying," Danny nodded.

"Hold that thought." Steve grinned, grabbing the cordless and making a quick call. "Your day off is back on." He held the phone away from his ear at the screaming. "Call your cousin and tell him the same thing, and tell Ben to get a grip." More screaming and Steve simply said, "Enjoy your day off, Kono," and hung up. "Damn, that woman's loud." Steve rested his elbows on Danny's knees. "Now, since you love me, and I love you, can we please go back up to bed so I can feed you pancakes? And can we do it naked so I can ravish you when you're done?"

"Ravish me?" Danny snickered.

Steve forced himself up and took Danny's hands, pulling him to his feet. "Yes, ravish; I like that word."

As they walked to the stairs Danny stopped mid-stride and faced Steve. "Why today?"

"You really don't know, do you?" Steve stared at him as if Danny was an idiot. "Don't you know what today is, Danno?"

"Monday."

"So it is." Steve squeezed Danny's hand and the two returned to the bedroom. He kissed Danny deeply, walking him backwards to the bed, stripping the two of them as they moved. By the time Danny's legs hit the back of the bed and he sat, they were both naked again. "Make yourself comfortable."

Danny did, leaning against the headboard. "So in honor of Monday, you have decided to declare your love and make me pancakes and coffee."

Steve picked up the tray and joined him on the bed. "Yes, it's Monday, this is true." He picked up the rose that had gone unnoticed by Danny on the tray. "February 14th." Steve held it out. "Be my Valentine, Danno?"

Danny leaned forward, his breath hot on Steve's face, kissing his way to Steve's ear, hot breath blowing inside. "Yes."

Steve sighed and turned his head, framing Danny's face in his palms. "It's not the way you smile that touched my heart; it's not the way you kiss that tears me apart..."

Danny rested his forehead against Steve's. "...many, many night go by, I sit alone at home and cry, over you, what can I do..."

The two grinned at each other and totally off key sang the next line, "Don't want nobody, nobody, 'cause baby it's you."

"I think you said something about feeding me pancakes." Danny smirked and rested against the pillows again. "And if you think you're taking this assignment, think again, Steven."

Steve tore a piece of pancake off and placed it to Danny's lips, moaning as they parted and Danny took it, along with Steve's fingers, into his mouth. "Do you know how hot I get when you call me that?"

Danny chewed slowly, smacking his lips together as he swallowed. "I do now." He grabbed Steve's wrist as Steve brought another piece to his mouth and made Steve drop it back on the plate. "I'm not hungry anymore..."

"Word broke last week of the possibility that the great Stephen King would be penning an episode of the Frank Darabont created hit AMC series "The Walking Dead". Well, confirmation of sorts has come, but it gets even better!

King confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that if the deal goes through for him to write an episode, he'll be teaming to do so with young writer Joe Hill (Locke & Key), who is King's son! Can you even imagine the possibilities?!?"

Daughter and I are picking up son and we are going to Disney for the first time in ages. (I am a Universal girl, but that will come in a few months). PREPAREDNESS
Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori): "My husband's family is military. Preparation is just, from that family perspective, it's just a part of what makes sense to do. I've got a go bag. It's a backpack that's ready in the closet at all times for whatever. So that's all packed."

Jon Bernthal (Shane): "I think I could bash a zombie's head in better than anyone else. I could live in the woods pretty well. I've done that before. We're actors — we'd all pretty much suck, but I think I would suck the least."

Steven Yeun (Glenn): "I could be a scavenger. I'm a huge pack rat — I have my yearbook from first grade or kindergarten, and it's with me even though I'm from Michigan. I have stuff that I can't part with."

Andrew Lincoln (Rick): "I hope to remember my family [in the event of an apocalypse] but I think it is funny because it's a refugee situation, isn't it? I think that you realize it's food, it's warmth, it's the most basic needs because everything else becomes incidental. So yeah, my tennis racket, [laughs] my swimming trunks (just in case we had a zombie pool in the neighborhood), and ... a gun."

WEAPONS
Lennie James (Morgan): "I liked the rifle. I think it's clean, I think it gets the job done and you don't have to get too close so you don't get splattered in blood."

Andrew Rothenberg (Jim): "I would get [the walkers] to chill out with just a bit of talk. Help them understand our side of the situation; get them to smile a little bit. That will break it up for a moment and give us a chance to get away or bash them over the head with a bat."

Norman Reedus (Daryl): "I love the crossbow. I mean it's just fun. Guns are fun, I can't deny that shooting guns in movies isn't fun. But I had never used a crossbow before, and it's pretty rad. The only thing is that you got to reload quickly. What I need is one of those automatic crossbows if they even make those."

Jeffrey DeMunn (Dale): "Twelve Gauge! If I could use any weapon that's the one I would probably grab. I am [also] definitely in favor of the axe."

Norman Reedus (Daryl): "Two axes! Take out a walker with two axes!"

FOOD
Chandler Riggs (Carl): "The catering [on-set]? That was the best food we have ever tasted. They had the desserts — chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cake. It was so good. All for free, too. It was amazing. I [also] ate salad. Kind of even it out a little bit."

Norman Reedus (Daryl): "I live in New York. We just got rats here, no squirrels. I did this film in China where we shot on top of the Great Wall. I remember for dinner during the weekend they made this huge feast: We had one plate of frogs that were standing upright. The next dish was slugs, just moving with all these sauces. Then the next dish was a giant snake that was coiled and the head was chopped off."

Lennie James (Morgan): "Beans... Make sure you cook them all the way through and use a little bit of paprika."

SURVIVAL
Michael Rooker (Merle): "You do what you got to do, simple as that. You're in a situation and it's life and death. It happens all the time, people surviving these crazy situations. You do what you got to do to survive."

Lennie James (Morgan): "I hope that I am smart enough and brave enough to hold on to being a non-zombie as long as humanly possible. I'm not sure I'm that smart, but I think I would do everything possible."

Steven Yeun (Glenn): "Whatever I lack in size and strength and speed, I kind of make up for in being grittier. When it comes to something like basketball I'm definitely not the best guy on the court, but I love elbowing and pushing people out or boxing them out. I don't know. That's where I get my joy. [Laughs]"

Noah Emmerich (Dr. Jenner): "I would love to think that I would be valiant and heroic, but we don't really know that in life until we get there. And we're fools to think that we could predict."

Melissa McBride (Carol): "Find a diversion... Ironing is a great diversion!"

No H5-0 Rant Due to RL and I Hear There Is Bashing....

No H5-0 rant as my Mom was in hospital and I brought her home this eve. I also hear there is bashing about....

....and as I have not been on any threads due to coming home a short while ago, I haven't read. But I have heard there is already bashing against Larisa Oleynik's character of Jenna Kaye. Haven't I spent the past 6 years dealing with this in SPN? Goddamn, people, give a character a chance. Like I said, I haven't watched, but maybe she was flirting with Steve or Danny? They are not going to hop into bed on your TV screen in the near future, and I'd like to see them get some action. I have no qualms about Steve/Catherine onscreen (and occasionally fic). And I want Danny to get laid already. The man needs it so badly and until the show goes to LOGO or Showtime, he ain't getting a piece of Steve's ass in front of us.

If you don't like her, I hope you have a reason other than she was checking out one of the guys.

Could the Walking Dead be back in July?

After watching the CDC in Atlanta go up in television's most glorious fireball, I was set with the creeping and horrible realization that it would be such a long time before we returned to Rick Grimes and ragtag group of survivors of the zombie apocalypse. October 2011 was (and still is) a long, long way away. Then along came Bryan Cranston to make all my dreams come true. Well, my zombie/meth-related dreams, at least.

The three-time Emmy Award winner for best actor in a drama series talked to New York Magazine about AMC's scheduling mix-ups for the following year, declaring that the move wasn't orchestrated to score Mad Men more Emmy's (premiering in July will render Breaking Bad ineligible for next year's Emmys).

"It was a decision from AMC that they wanted to position us in July... They want to attract as many eyeballs as possible, away from the heavy competition of the September, November [or] January start," he said, before going on to throw a bone to fans of AMC's top drama, The Walking Dead.

"I believe they're going to put Walking Dead in July as well."

Now, of course there's the fact that Cranston is just an actor, and isn't involved much at all in the scheduling process for shows. For him to volunteer that, though, makes that statement that much more true. How great would it be for us to get our dose of zombies three months earlier than expected?

The only question that would remain, though, would be how well The Walking Dead would fare outside of its Halloween comfort zone. I'm guessing pretty good, considering the season finale, which aired six weeks after Halloween, was the highest-performing episode of the show. It's quite apparent that the show has a massive audience, by cable standards, at least, and if I were AMC, I wouldn't be too concerned about losing viewers by moving out of October.

What do you think of the alleged move? Would you like to see a Sunday night block of Breaking Bad/The Walking Dead? I think there's real potential for success there for AMC.
