This time we bring you the brilliant 'I Built Moscow, Next To You' from the Russian up and coming star Sasha Virus featuring the vocals of Dillara. We also have two top notch remixes from Perfecto favourite Adam White and Alter Ego newboy Luca Lombardi.

The Original Mix, has all the ingredients to make it a late summer hit, with a unique vocal from Sasha's partner in crime Dillara. A brilliant chord structure is coupled with an array of delightful sounds. Dont miss this one as its argulably Sasha's finest to date!!

Remix one comes from the very skillfull hands of Adam White who has been on fire lately with Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto label. He adds his trademark sound to the table and churns out a brilliant alternative to the original.

Following on from his 2 Sides of the Moon EP, Sasha Virus once again returns to Unearthed Records with his awesome new single entitled I Still Fall with the superb vocals from Dilara. The original mix is a gentle trance track with a progressive feel, letting the melody and vocals take centre stage over the groovy bassline.

First up on remix duty fresh out of the Captured stable is Matias Lehtola. Bringing us a superb slice of Swedish trance, his remix features a deep bassline, great percussion and a wonderful breakdown letting the various melodies take centre stage.

Next up is Dan Boots and Ian Simpson, collectively known as the Stereojackers who have been making some serious waves in the house music industry. But don't let that put you off, their remix here is a great laid back yet pumping trancey affair with an absolutely stunning guitar riff that has you going back time and time again for another listen.

Completing the release is a remix from Cerera who has pulled out all the stops to create a full on dancefloor destroyer. Pumping from the off, this outright uplifting trance mix has a great blend of synths and melody lines to get everybody in the club up onto their feet.

2010-ый год принёс бельгийскому диджею и продюсеру Mike Dierickx, более известному под псевдонимами M.I.K.E., Push и Plastic Boy, новые испытания. В начале года он переехал из города Антверпен в американский город, который никогда не спит, Нью-Йорк. За первые месяцы проживания в этом городе, M.I.K.E. настолько полюбил его и вдохновился им, что решил начать работу над новой компиляцией, которую он назвал в честь своего нового дома, New York City Nights.

После без малого 15 лет музыкальной деятельности и шести студийных альбомов (четырёх под псевдонимом Push и двух под именем M.I.K.E.), он решил попробовать свои силы над новой компиляцией. До этого за его плечами уже были достаточно успешные микс-релизы: Antwerp '05 и London '07. M.I.K.E.: "Культура Нью-Йорка, его разнообразие в этике, музыке, еде, искусстве, моде - всё это оказалось мне очень близким. Смешение всех этих ингредиентов действительно способно расширить человеческий кругозор. Я хотел воссоздать это ощущение путешествия по Бродвею в любое время суток, воссоздать яркую атмосферу города".

Andy Tau has made quite a name for his progressive sound over the past 12 months and this release certainly adds some weight under his belt.

The Original mix has all the sweet evocative synths that you would expect from an Andy Tau track, but its the melody that sets this progressive monster on fire.

Sequentia are first up on remix duties and really step up to the plate. They deliver a brilliant full on driving mix that is destined for the floors.

Next up is a very on form Russian by the name of Sasha Virus, who definitely doesn't disappoint! He incorporates all the melody's from the original and turns it into a more moody bass driven affair. Perfect for those early sets!

Last up we have Sonic Element, who injects some real energy into his mix. Definitely the most energetic of the bunch. With a dark bassline and great percs that will no doubt do some damage on the floors. Check this one out!!

Sindre takes the track in his brilliant progtrance style, really adding pace to the proceedings whilst using the vocal superbly around his new lead. This track was used to close Disc One of the recent Digitally Enhanced Vol 2 CD, and was noted a highlight by Mixmag.

Estiva once again goes for the Tech route, and having seen support across the board for his Tech rendition of 'Fading Freedom' he produces and essential take on the original; and fans of the latter won't be disappointed!

Original Mix

This is Sasha Virus’s debut for Enhanced and he comes at us with a cool vocal progressive trance cut. Compared to the remixes, this is a more laid-back affair which I could see being hugely popular for fans of progressive house as well as trance. The track builds layer by layer, starting with solid percussion and a really deep bassline which leads the track forward to the highlight of the track – Dilara’s vocal. I am not overly familiar with Dilara’s work, but after hearing her on 2gether We Are, she is a vocalist I am going to be looking out for. While the overall instrumentation is quite simplistic in approach (a good thing for this track) Dilara’s vocal adds a great deal of depth, as her voice flows perfectly over the deep swelling bass and spacious atmospheric lead. This isn’t one which is going to have your arms flying into the air, but that is not it’s intention, this track is all about atmosphere and mood and it has sacks of it. The melody which appears late into the track adds a whole new dimension and again sits well alongside that beautiful vocal. If you are a fan of vocal tracks I would definitely check this out, as the vocal is extremely well crafted to the track and prominent throughout, I would also highly recommend this for fans of the progressive sound as this is a defining moment for the genre for me. Great debut for Sasha Virus.

Sindre Eide Remix

This guy is a real talent and I am not surprised in the slightest that Enhanced have picked him up for a number of releases as I think his style suits the label perfectly. His remix takes no time at all to get going, straight in with some perfect beats and swooping pads the track starts as it means to go on. Even though all 3 tracks are at a cool 133bpm, this one seems to have the most drive behind it and a more overall ‘trancey’ feel. Out of all 3 tracks I think Sindre Eide uses the vocals effectively as they fit in really well over the solid percussion, deep yet powerful bassline and the new main lead which is incorporated. Another thing worth noting is the breakdown, which is nothing short of brilliant. I love how the throbbing deep bassline is worked in with Dilara’s excellent vocal and a swift drum-roll to build atmosphere before the main melody and lead come swooping in with force. This one has it all, great atmosphere, a powerful and distinctive melody and excellent vocals which suit the remix perfectly. Not only is it great for home listening it will no doubt work extremely well on the dancefloor, I am expecting this one to get some huge support as well as the rest of Sindre Eide’s work which is due to surface. One to watch.

Estiva Tech Remix

Estiva is back on Enhanced following his hugely successful and widely supported Les Fleurs EP which I was a big fan of myself so I was excited to hear this remix. This remix follows his popular ‘Tech’ Remix route, made popular after the huge success of the remix of Fading Freedom form the before mentioned EP. This as the name suggests is an overall more ‘techy’ driven affair, with a grittier percussion and bassline which some bleeps and beeps to keep it moving. The vocal is not quite as prominent, but still utilized quite effectively to keep the mood going with some effects added at points to give it that overall more electronic feel. I really like the main lead in this remix which is used as it again not unlike the Sindre Eide Remix adds a new dimension to the track and suits quite well against the contrast of the warm pads and gritty percussion. Estiva is renowned for creating and crafting perfect melodies, and this is no exception. The main melody from the original is warped into Estiva’s style and it suits the track quite well, especially alongside the powerful percussion, with it being utilized really well during the breakdown and towards the outro of the track. I wish this part was actually more dominant in the remix, but with it being a more ‘tech’ orientated affair it probably wouldn’t have suited its purpose quite so well. Another quality and very different remix for the package.

Overall

I think that Enhanced are on to yet another winner with this package as all three of the mixes which have been provided are going to appeal to a different audience and are all very unique and distinctive from each other. The one which took my attention first was Sindre Eide’s interpretation, but the more I listen to the Original & Estiva Tech Remix the more I like them so it would be hard to choose just one from this brilliant package.
