Samotarev - producer, dj, Green Snake Records label owner, radio DJ, The Python project participant.
He began his musical career in 1997. Worked in such styles, as Breakbeat and Electro House.
In 2003 he became the participant of Python project and worked in such styles as Progressive House, Tech House and Techno.
In the same year Samotarev began his DJ career. He played in many Russian clubs.
In 2004 The Python project released an album DeepPressure.
Samotarev doing promotional activities in parallel with work on the music. In 2005 he has entered into the promotional organization Sabotadj.
In 2006 the first release from The Python project was created on the English label Xeton.Since then, their music began to be placed on the foreign labels such as Ascension, Balkan Connection, Behold, Bellarine, Composure, Jetlag, Monad, Presslab, Proton, Real Music, Segment, System, Toes In The Sand.
In 2009 he began a solo career. Samotarev is an artist of such labels as KULT, Lowbit, Baroque, Green Snake, Documenti Sonori, Pure Substance, Midwest Hustle,19 Box, Akka, Mistique Music His tracks are supported by John Digweed (Bedrock, Global Underground), Hernan Cattaneo, Djuma Soundsystem, Eelke Kleijn (GU / Outside the Box), Noel Sanger (Dissident), Spooky, Darin Epsilon (Perfecto, Baroque, Proton), Amine Edge, Blue Room Project (Ascension Records).
Currently, Samotarev is actively working on the production of their own tracks and develops his own label Green Snake Records.

Description
Welcoming Samotarev, one half of Russian based production outfit, Python along with Yura, to the stable of Pure Substance. Under the Python banner, they are no strangers to our label, with few successful releases under their belt with us, not to mention, the other key labels and their own label, Carica Records.
Now, under his solo moniker, he present us an E.P. with 3 tech houser that are dancefloor friendly. Sexy, deep and engaging results.
