RYTEK - SECTOR 7 EP [PSI1310]

Sector 7 - Cover @ Rytek Music

Genre: Prog-House, Techno

Release Date: April 03 2013

Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/release/sector-7/1061714

Label: Particles

01. Rytek - Sector 7 (Original mix)

02. Rytek - 101 Last Days (Original mix)

After starting out with a "deep, emotional and energetic mix series" to showcase his production skills, Evgeniy Savchenko caught the ears of many. Then, under his Rytek production guise, the Russian from Krasnodar near the Black Sea, began to make waves after a clutch of releases in 2011. With the bulk of these coming on Erich Von Kollar's impressive Stellar Fountain imprint, it was on the "Ritma" EP in November 2011 that Rytek first came to the attention of Proton head honcho, Jay Epoch with, "The First Class". This brooding, progressive track with head-turning rhythms saw a relationship forged with the Particles label that first bore fruit with the hypnotic rhythms of Rytek's remix of Kobana and Mario Hatchet's "Move Back" for the label in Autumn 2012.

Now as the seasons begin to change, Particles is delighted to announce Ryek's first full release on Particles with his "Sector 7" EP. Exhibiting a passion for "musical research and experimentation", Evgeniy has continued his exquisite rhythmic sensibilities with a flowing and hypnotic rhythmic gem. The title track skips purposefully along with a pulsating bass line acting as driving force alongside a dominant kick drum. Simultaneously, reverb-laden effects criss-cross around the stereo spectrum while sustained pads and distorted synth-line keep the tension high in the breakdown before unleashing once more into the pulsing, rhythmic and bass filled broth.

"101 Last Days" has an immediately lighter feel to its EP counterpart as light and airy pads give a sense of space and texture, combined with carefully constructed and modulated melodic riff. Nevertheless, Rytek's strong sense of rhythm is never far from the surface and, as the melodies play out and the track reaches its final movement, the strong rhythms that dominate the title track are once again in evidence here.

As "Sector 7" has proved, Rytek's immaculate sense of rhythm and groove would ensure "101 Last Days" provide a party of epic proportion.

Kobana and Mario Hatchet - Move Back // Particles [PSI1231]

Genre: Prog-House,
Release Date: Oct 10 2012
Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/label/particles/8494
Label: Particles

1 Kobana and Mario Hatchet - Move Back (Verve Remix)
2 Kobana and Mario Hatchet - Move Back (Rytek Remix)
3 Kobana and Mario Hatchet - Move Back (Sound Process Remix)

Kobana's name has been synonymous with high-quality progressive offerings since 2009 and his name has risen rapidly to become well known to the likes of Silk Digital, Black Hole, Anjunadeep and Proton in that time. With over 100 track credits to his name Kobana is the best-selling Polish artist on the Proton roster. Working both as a solo and collaborative artist, his 'Move Back' track with Mario Hatchet's first appeared on Particles towards the end of 2011 with its counterpart, 'Reload'. With support from Barry Jamieson, Fran Von Vie and James Warren, the duo's groove-laden, bass heavy, progressive epic now returns for a full release on Particles with 3 special remix treatments.

Rytek is a relative newcomer to world of EDM but has had an instant impact on the ears of Proton Label Director, Jason Wohlstadter after his hypnotic progressive 'First Class' caught his attention after its release on Stellar Fountain. With grand future plans, this Russian demonstrates why he is beginning to catch the attention of the EDM cognoscenti with a beautifully considered take on the Kobana original. A crackling, sizzling, percussive backdrop provides the vehicle for the emotional melodies of the original to play out as the track develops. An impressive Particles debut.

Kieran Krohn has been producing under his Verve alias since 2008 and has already commanded much attention with his work on Miarbilis, Lowbit, Stereo Paradise and the impressive Indigo, which he previously helped run. Verve first appeared for Particles on the 2012 Spring compilation with his track 'Fusion'. While the success of this track sees it achieve a forthcoming full release, Verve's remix of is a superb bass-heavy progressive offering with high production values and a wonderful use of melody and rhythm.

Argentinean, Sound Process was another contributor to the 2012 Spring Particles compilation and who knows sees his work rewarded with a full release of its own. With over 50 tracks work signed to a number of labels including, Jetlag, Stripped, Replug and Flow Vinyl, this Buenos Aries resident produces a cracking progressive groover that is full of head-shaking rhythm and hypnotic panned stabs combined with sweeping melodic elements that create a wonderful take on the original.

With Rytek, Verve and Sound Process at the remix helm. Kobana and Mario Hatchet look set to 'Move Back' into the limelight.

Release Info:

Rytek has been already hanging around in the house scene including some lovely and quality releases in his discography. This time he teamed up with Stellar Fountain to bring a dancefloor killer EP to the public called 'Ritma'.

The main title has everything what a perfect track needs. It starts with solid drum and percussion elements. After a while from the background a mysterious melody leaves the filter effect behind and starts to play with our mind. Sometimes it disappears and then suddenly strike back again!

The boys from C.R.E.C.C.A got a progressive touch on the original. Sweeping strings and long lasting synths giving essential frame to the production. Must have one for those who loves floating!

Alexander B has a different point of v! iew on 'Ritma'. He leaves his trademark on the track: a recognisable deep character filled with sunshine and happiness. This version can be ideal for warm up's and cool down's!

'The First Class' going on the same root as 'Ritma'. The pure energy is transmitting from the used chords. On other hand some spacey atmosphere were add by Evgeny to complete the unique musical journey
