Positive Merge only has a few releases to his credit, but already he's making music with a maturity and individualism that belies his small back catalogue. The title track sounds like an update of G-Man's yelping minimalism, albeit surrounded by a metal-plated casing, while the Advanced Human version adds grimier, darker beats, but juxtaposes them with swirling chords. "Kite Flyer" has a more contemporary feeling, its rolling percussion unfolding over dense drums, while Merge ends the EP on a different note; capturing the predilection for dense, hypnotic techno, the droning "Enigma" rivals anything that labels like Prologue or Stroboscopic Artefacts are releasing.
