BIOGRAPHY: Producer, remixer and DJ. Started his career as a producer in 1996 in Kharkov (Ukraine) as a member of the duo Asylum Group. Right away the first track of the duo got into heavy rotation of the local radio stations in 1997. In 1998 Playdoughboy started his career as a DJ at the DNK club in Kharkov. After moving to San Francisco in early 2000 Playdoughboy started a solo project as a producer concentrating on dirty electro house and minimal techno. He also started working with the biggest promoters in San Francisco and Seattle. Playdoughboy's collaborations include works with Aier Sauft, John Bourke, Protection, Audio Angel and Rachel Car. Playdoughboy performed live and as a DJ at the most prestigious clubs in San Francisco including Insomnia, Mighty, BOCA, Supperclub, Roe/Prive, Studio Z, Club 6, Rx Gallery, Whisper. Playdoughboy shared the stage with Sasha Dith (Germany), Pheek (Canada), DJ Slon (Germany), Tall Sasha (Ministry Of Sound), DJ Tsvetkov (Russia), Dimitris Mykonos (Greece/USA), Alland Byallo (USA). Guest appearances include El Otro Mundo Sessions on deepmix, Loveparade SF 2004 and 2007, Folsom Street Fair 2006. Playdoughboy's bootleg remixes of "Sexy Back" by Justin Timberlake and "Insomnia" by Faithless became cult hits in the US, Greece, Japan and Russia. Currently Playdoughboy is a resident at Avalon nightclub (Santa Clara), Green Lantern (Mountain View), Insomnia (San Francisco) and Fusion (Seattle). Playdoughboy runs the Electro Connect net-label and is a DJ at Novoe Radio and KSJS 90.5 FM.
