#LoveisLove "Love Is Love" was written and produced by Christina Simos, Eddie Hedges, David Reitzas. Remixed by the great Pete Struve (PeterMixt). A modern day infusion of disco, 90's high energy dance with a strong message about love and equality.
This inspiring artist, Christina Simos, is a throwback to the Donna Summer, Diana Ross era. Her high energy message is clear: "Love is love."
"I wanted to go back to the days where we felt free to be who we were, expression was applauded and we stood together for the rights of others. I have been championing the right to be who you are for years." said Christina. "I have been a part of many movements and will continue to do my part. "I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel, I'm just putting my own spin to it. This music makes me happy and I think it's what we need right now."
In 2008, Christina's hit song "All About Me," co-written by Eddie Hedges (Founder of the 80s pop group, Blessid Union of Souls) was a finalist in the USA Songwriting competition. In June 2010, Christina performed on San Francisco Pride’s Main Stage with the BackStreet Boys, Rose Royce, Andy Bell, and Martha and the Motels. Woman’s Radio hails Christina as "afrolicious, soulful and powerful… a singer/songwriter and mother passionate about using her music to make a positive change in the world, which she most certainly has with her Dance and Soul inspired vocals."
"I put my career aside to be the best mother I could be. Now my son is old enough for me to be able to return to my passion and continue my journey."
Pete started his DJ/remix career in 1973 in San Francisco's under ground club scene. His Disconet remix of Viola Wills, "If You Could Read My Mind" stands as one of the labels greatest remixes. Pete's 42 years of dance music background is evident as it flows through the dance mix of Christina Simos, "Love Is Love".
