Michael Lilak is making and playing music under ‘Michael Li’ moniker. His brother is a DJ, and due to close communication with him Michael decided to pave own way through club nights and exceptional sounding music. To polish his own skills he makes choice to attend renowned DJ Groove’s ‘Audio’ school, and as time has shown, this move hasn’t gone unnoticed — he is clearly felt himself full of new knowledge and creative powers.
DJ Kulikoff, his brother, is also proposed the idea, that it is not enough, to be just DJ, and he should try himself in the production field. Now Michael can express ideas into music. DJ Traggor helped a lot with advices and answers to his numerous questions. Michael is not enslaves himself into boundaries or templates and makes music in various genres, while doing his own business, that is far from music, but Michael has not less interest in it.
Speaking of accomplishments, Michaels already closely communicating with many labels, and his music is sounding on the air Russian and foreign radio stations.
At the end of 2013 he decided to try himself in unusual genre — Synth-Pop, in duo with Sergei Tkachenko. First tracks were released in December and placed in heavy rotation of many radio stations. ‘New Year’s Night’ was on top of many local stations’s charts, and also won prize in the "Pajama Party” (show with Vintage) on Love Radio. There is a big chance, that it will sound on the 2015 New Year’s Eve on the waves of major stations.
Then was collaboration with young vocalist, Roxy Charming, ‘Tell Me Why’, which was released on Ducth ‘Trance4Life’ imprint with a bunch of remixes from label’s artists. This track is also sounded on many Russian local stations and was topping the regional charts.
The biggest success to date became participation in ‘Trancemission’ on Record radio. Host of the show, DJ Feel, liked the track and played it many times in the episodes of show. In Feel’s chart track took 10th place, amongst other 25 best new tracks of July. Michael intended to continue his journey and, working hard days and nights on the new production.
