M.A.Z.7 has been very busy of late with releases on not only Deepsessions but also Mistique, 7 Seas, Baroque, Wild Child and Terminal 01 all within the last six months. M.A.Z.7 is much loved for his fat melodic progressive sound and it's showcased brilliantly here over the course of twelve tracks. The title cut 'Prelude' kicks the album off in very strong fashion as it is one of the smoothest, warmest progressive grooves we've heard in a while. 'Minature' follows with a deep tech house vibe that is executed in a very refined and mature fashion. 'Night Rain' and 'Wasabi' are next and shift the mood back to warm, summery progressive house with those classic type melodic hooks you just can't help but love. Things take a more serious tone with 'Kub' which is a grinding style track with that marching type rhythm that most dancefloors eat up. Things then shift to a slightly more trippy theme as the album picks up with 'Urman', this track is certainly one of the standouts on the album with a monster glassy sounding lead that really sets it apart. 'City Of Rains' follows taking things down to a deeper vibe again before 'Morning Walk' appears with a gorgeous trancey synth and amazing bubbly rhythm about it. 'Summer Feelings' and 'Sweet Memories' close the album out is blissful melodic fashion which makes for a perfect end to a great collection of music. Every track on here is playable in a club or radio environment and it's really an impressive feat as you can't really say that about a lot of progressive house albums these days but M.A.Z.7 has done a masterful job on this fine collection of tracks.
