House, Techno and Hard House/Hard Dance DJ & Producer based in Novosibirsk, Russia.

Dan is the first Russian producer who had his music released within the UK Hard House/NRG scene. At the moment he has tracks out on "Twisted Traxx" (UK), "Filth Traxx" (UK), "Insekt Sonar" (UK), "Dementia Records" (UK), "Sabretooth Records" (UK), "Staar Recordings" (UK), "The Beat Ranch" (CAN), “Headcharge Recordings” (UK), "Spin Hard Recordings" (UK), "Alien Technology" (RUS) and “Killertrax Recordings” (UK) under the "Distorted Robocops" alias. Distorted Robocops sound can be described as underground Hard House and Hard Dance with influences coming from Techno and Industrial music - sometimes raw, but always special, and every new track being different from the others.

Dan runs Alien Technology Recordings which is Russia’s first and largest digital Hard Dance label. The label is growing rapidly and during its first two years has delivered a host of releases from various Russian and foreign producers including Random But Raw, S.I.D.R. & Andy Wolf, D-NRG, Shifter, Phoenix, Prohibited, Bent Killer, Steve Axid, Puls@r aka Second Sine, SHTN and Crasherz to name but a few.

Dan also produces other styles of electronic dance music including Bassline/House and Techno under various guises. In late 2009 he has set up Bass Machine Recordings to support the growing bassline music movement in Russia and around the world and push underground Speed Garage together with more mainstream Fidget and House to the masses.

On the local front he is pioneering the sounds of UK Hard House & NRG aswell as having regular slots with more down to earth House and Techno music since 2001 when he first stepped on the stage as a DJ. He rapidly developed the ability to mix seamlessly together with unique tune selection and set building skills, always entertaining the crowd and finding rare records that no other DJ had.

Since that time Dan has been performing in many different locations in the eastern part of Russia. He appeared on the stage with DJ’s like Mark Maitland [Untamed Society/Energy UK], Panacea [Kniteforce Records, UK], DJ PROMO & DJ HUSZ [Third Movement, Netherlands], Electric Indigo (Austria), Victor Strogonov [Hardline 77, Cluster, Maximum/Minimum], Osmo [Scythe Squadron, PL], Lady Wax [InBeatWeTrust!], Ant V [Clearwater Music UK], Idoleast [Mindsaw Recordings/Mindocracy Recordings], Lemon [Tersikore, IT], Fanu (Finland), Tomcraft (Germany), Marcus Schossow (Sweden), DJ Esbee (Germany) and many others, showcasing himself as a versatile DJ capable of working in a wide variety of styles from House and Garage to Techno and Hard Dance at the highest level. Being the first UK Hard House/NRG DJ in the eastern part of Russia he is now one of the most known among the local underground scene and around the country.

From 2003 till the closing in 2009 Dan was holding a residency at the local radio-show “Locomotive” on one of the most popular FM radio stations in Russia - “Europa Plus”, spinning mostly house music.

Along with Nulltag Promotions Dan has also launched the first in the eastern part of Russia Hard Dance club night “Speedball” dedicated to Hard House, Hard Trance and UK Hardcore, having had many successful events since february 2007.

Данила (Kumatozz) начал изучать электронную музыку еще в 1997-ом году в эпоху Euro House и Speed Garage, регулярно подзаряжаясь энергией программы “Квадрат” на Европе-Плюс с ди-джеями Хайпером и Рудыком (в те времена, когда они оба ещё жили в Новосибирске). Позже в 2001-ом году, уже как ди-джей, отыграл свои первые пластинки бок о бок с такими ди-джеями, как Some DGRidoo, Digital One, Popoff, Snoop, Meeshgunn и другими первопроходцами Новосибирского underground движения, быстро став одним из “своих” в тусовке. С тех пор появлялся почти во всех клубах города, включая уже закрытые легендарные клубы “4 Rooms”, “Трюм”, “Shuttle”, а также во многих городах Сибирского региона, выступая с сетами в таких направлениях, как: disco house, progressive house, deep house, tech house, techno и других.

В музыкальном плане Данила всегда делает ставку на отличную технику, продуманное построение микса и “многогранность”, не ограничивая себя конкретным стилем, постоянно находясь в поиске интересного раритетного и эксклюзивного материала и никогда не планируя сет наперёд, подстраиваясь под атмосферу вечеринки и постепенно настраивая людей на свою музыку. Появляясь с одинаковым успехом на разных концах спектра house и techno музыки – от резидентских deep house эфиров одного из наиболее популярных за всю историю FM радио-шоу Новосибирска “Локомотив”, до выступлений на заводских techno-рейвах, Данила раз за разом демонстрирует умение отыграть на самом высоком уровне в любом из направлений, к которым он проявляет свой интерес, и находить контакт практически с любой публикой. За его плечами – опыт выступлений как на закрытых вечеринках, так и на крупных фестивалях и опен-эйрах на одних площадках с такими ди-джеями и музыкантами, как: Mark Maitland [Intec, UK], Panacea [Kniteforce Records, UK], DJ PROMO & DJ HUSZ [Third Movement, Netherlands], Electric Indigo (Austria), Victor Strogonov aka DJ Fashist, Osmo [Scythe Squadron, PL], Fanu (Finland), Tomcraft (Germany), Marcus Schossow (Sweden), DJ Esbee (Germany), Ant V [Clearwater Music], Lady Wax [InBeatWeTrust!], Lena Popova (Spb), Slava Finist (Spb) и многими другими.

На отечественной UK Hard House/NRG сцене Данила бесспорно является ключевой фигурой – основатель первого российского hard dance лейбла “Alien Technology” и первый российский музыкант с релизами на английских лейблах, в числе которых: "Twisted Traxx" (UK), "Filth Traxx" (UK), "Insekt Sonar" (UK), "Dementia Records" (UK), "Sabretooth Records" (UK), "Staar Recordings" (UK), "The Beat Ranch" (CAN), “Headcharge Recordings” (UK), "Spin Hard Recordings" (UK) и “Killertrax Recordings” (UK). На локальном “hard dance” фронте Данила также один из старейших и наиболее уважаемых ди-джеев, пионер стиля, в активе которого – организация серии hard dance вечеринок “Speedball”, выступления на легендарных Новосибирских рейвах “Schwarzzeit”, “Бельчатник”, “Rave Revolution”, “Soundisibles” и множестве других мероприятий.

Сейчас Данила является менеджером группы лейблов Alien Technology, включающей в себя Alien Technology Recordings, Bass Machine Recordings и другие лейблы, а также выступает с DJ-сетами в таких стилях, как: House, Techno, Bassline/Garage, Hard Dance и UK Hardcore/Freeform.
