King Shi The Asian Wind
In the recent years, independent music from Russia proved again and again that this huge land of stereotypical cold, bears and vodka is also rich with artistic, talented people. Modern technology gives you all the tools to create right in your bedroom, and sometimes - right on your couch. Somebody uses it to produce all the same and really simple and boring beats almost on a daily basis, year after year, while there's also some people who like to push the limits a bit further and squeeze the maximum of the technology and their own creative self. King Shi, a producer from Siberia region, Russia, is one of those music enthusiasts who wants to bring his best. His new album was a couple of years in the making, which allowed King Shi to give the listeners his best material to date.
This album is an example of quality downtempo-music from Russia, and it could openly compete with the works of fellow musicians from the EU and the US for the ears and tastes of audience. "The Asian Wind" LP by King Shi was released digitally on the Dusted Wax Kingdom, a well-known european netlabel. This well-balanced, emotional and well-produced music definitely deserves all the credit and your support!
