Born and raised in west Siberia and now located in Ekaterinburg on Ural. Inspired by everything from jazz, disco, and funk, to early 90’s industrial music, Fowlly’s selections are varied. The real music influence, though, which completely turned Fowlly’s understanding were Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, East-17, 2-unlimited, KLF, C&C Music Factory, Snap, Prodigy, and mixes by legendary DJ’s such as, Carl Cox, Gizmo, Marusha, O. Odjo (Pacman), J. Groove, O. Suhov, Volodia, Slava Finist, Super DJ Dan. Early 90’s came and first night clubs started to play sexiest music, this was exactly when Axel Fowlly’s career started to build. After invitation of his friend by progressive musical group, Axel has become a resident at café «Rendez-vous», where he started the first pre-parties. Axel is also promoting his own parties, where he transferred his 4 hour sets to sophisticated E-burg crowd. He lives and breathes house music, and his tastes are very varied, from deep, tech, minimal, funky, progressive, and tribal to soulful house.
