DJ Edwin has begun the activity in hip-hop culture in 1993 as МС in group Snejnyi Jam. In 1997 has left Radio the Record DJ’s School (SPb), playing acid-jazz and lounge, but in 1998 it was completely switched on hip-hop. In 2002 together with the partner of Snejnyi Jam Mista V starts to conduct transfer about hip-hop culture Hooligun'YO on Radio «Petersburg FM» and renews dj’s activity in clubs.
In the autumn of 2002 Edwin together with Mista V and DJ Ma$k starts series R'n'B of parties in Stout-bar which became the first weekly actions in the given format in Petersburg.
In 2003 party moves to Absinth Club and reaches unknown success. In half a year party grows to the new level in Jakata club and, at last, opening r'n'b cafe Cadillac.
In the summer 2004 Edwin for the first time gets on annual cult festival KaZantip 2004 (And also 2006) in structure of r'n'b cafe Cadillac. In the autumn Edwin participates in GrandMaster DJ Festival 2004 in Pekin hotel (Moscow). In December, 2004 Edwin debuts as a one of the headliners on the big platform within the limits of the mass action in «Manej Kadetskogo Korpusa (SPb)», 3000 person who has collected more repeats even more successfully on the following action in LENEXPO (10 000 person). Then it is invited as the resident for PR of R'n'B parties in Metro Club. In this connection DJ Edwin weekly played live-mixes on air Radio Studio.
2005 was marked by unknown splash as R'n'B cultures as a whole, and quantity of R'n'B-parties in many cities of Russia in particular.
An epilogue opening in July, 2005 of portal RnB.RU, largest in Russia.
