Valery made his first steps into the World of Electronic Music not as any other DJ, striving for fame and money. Being a psychologist, he started to study the psychology of electronic music, it’s influence on the human mind from the inside. That’s where his childhood musical education came in handy. Thanks to his acquaintance with Russian and foreign DJs, musicians and directors, Valery was able to make progress in the profound investigation of this phenomenon. Meanwhile he didn’t miss the opportunity to fulfill himself as a talented psychologist. He wanted to make people acquire a far more deeper understanding of electronic music. That’s why his determination to be at the DJ’s stand and to take up writing his own music was quite predictable. During his careful investigation Valery worked out his own unique style, which one can feel in every set of his. Valery always knows in advance all the audience’s wishes. His pseudonym – Esprit Fort – was not a random choice. Translated from the French as “a free-thinker”, it fully reflects his way of thinking and understanding of the essence of life, as well as his wish to show “the back of the moon”. Even those, who are into other music styles, fall for his music as soon as they hear it. It opens up their eyes to the things, which have been hidden from them in the shadows. During his career as a DJ, Esprit Fort became called for in the modern club stage. At the moment DJ Esprit Fort is focused on the studio recording while giving performances in clubs

Свой путь в мир электронной музыки Валерий  начал не как обычный диджей, которого интересует только деньги и слава. Будучи психологом, он начал изучать психологию электронной музыки, ее влияние на сознание людей, то есть изнутри. Вот тут ему очень пригодилось музыкальное образование, полученное в детстве. Общение с российскими и зарубежными диджеями, музыкантами и продюсерами позволило Валерию достаточно глубоко изучить это явление, и он не упустил возможности реализовать свой исследовательский потенциал психолога. Вполне закономерно оказалось его желание встать за диджейский пульт и сесть за написание своей музыки, тем самым донести до людей более глубокое понимание электронной музыки. В процессе тщательного исследования он выработал свой собственный уникальный стиль. Это отражается в каждом его сете, поскольку он всегда знает наперед, чего именно хочет публика.
Псевдоним Esprit Fort был выбран не случайно. Esprit Fort (франц. Волнодумец, свободомыслящий) и полностью отражает его мироощущение и понимание смысла жизни, постоянное желание показать «обратную сторону луны». Люди, предпочитающие другие стили, услышав музыку Esprit Fort'a, влюбляются в его звучание, открывая для себя то, что до этого было в тени.
За время своего существования как диджея он стал воcтребованным в современном клубном движении. В настоящее время Dj Esprit Fort, помимо выступлений, сосредоточен над созданием своего студийного альбома.
