I have been doing music for a long tome now - since 1998. Of couse it all start with loop-editing, but as I encountered advanced software that provided a wide range of possibilities to synthesize different sounds and etc I began doing trance music. Melodic trance is an easy genre to produce and I can say that I was successful at it. But in 2000 - 2001 I have heard the vibes of house played by a duo from the U.S. - Deep Dish when they were spinning their records at club XIII (Moscow) and that was the moment when i fell in love with house music. Of course I have tried out different styles: 2 step, big beat, break beat, garage but I still remain loyal to house. The most interesting sub-genres to compose are: disco, deep/jazzy, funky, tribal and a bit of latino/afro house insted of the trendy electro and tech because there is more melody, sense, and soulful feeling in these styles and they are really challenging to master for these are considered to be the most difficult to compose. But I love it and I guess that I'll stick to disco house for at least another decade.
