Def[ez] aka Def’z (known as Andrew Avtushenko) belarussian musician, composer. He was carried away by music at school years. At the beginning it was playing the guitar, but by and by it grew into something more than just a hobby. At the age of … Andrew moved to the USA. There later on his passion reflected in punk-rock band, where Andrew used to play with his schoolmates. Guys had performances at clubs and even recorded the album. Nevertheless along with alternative music he was keen on hip-hop and rap and when he returned home these rhythms appeared in Andrew’s music. In Belarus he discovered such styles as Dubstep, 2step, UK Garage. With a help and support of his old friend Igor Shep (SWIS) Def’z did his first steps in electronic music. The desire to create music in such style and to experiment with sound was so strong and for about a year Andrew practiced a lot in order to improve skills and to have an excellent sound. In October 2009, he first released on polish label 49manekinow with the album EP Midnight Guest. Soon after it his track Guest started to rotate on UK Gutter Radio.
