Made up of Russian producers Davip and Mars, along with respected French producer Ben William, PLAYMA represents a hybrid of three creative visions. After a show in Kalingrad which happened to feature all three producers, a quick play around in the studio resulted in a surprisingly huge track. Knowing they were onto something, Davip, Mars and Ben William quickly formed a new Dubstep trio known as PLAYMA.

With backgrounds in Breaks, Drum and Bass and inspiration from a variety of music including Miles Davis, The Chemical Brothers and Noisia, it was always likely that PLAYMA would have a unique, novel sound – and now they bring their unique brand of Dubstep to Audioporn Records.

Reaching our 5th release, 3 of which have already featured Russian artists, Breed 12 Inches is proud to introduce DaVIP & Encode onto the mainstage. Like their Russian counterparts who have also seen a release on Breed 12 Inches, this Russian duo hold nothing back, offering a huge 12” that has been literally cained by every DJ in the scene, from Audio to John B. One 12” of two superbly varying tracks, the collaboration of two of Russia’s rising artists backs Breed’s mission of developing and showcasing the best rising talent around. The A-side ‘Vamonos’, is that tune that you will have all heard over the last few months. Receiving welcomed and much appreciated support from the scene’s biggest, ‘Vamano’s has been jokingly dubbed “the most rewound tune of 2010”. Raw, electric and uncomprising – Russia in all of its glory. The B-side ‘High Technology’, is something a little different. A melodic, seemingly therapeutic melody, blended intricately with a stomping drum track, provides the foundations for a dancefloor orientated track – perfectly complimenting its counterpart on the A-side.
