In late 90’S – beginning of 2000 I was in a grunge-band “Detsel”, where I was the author of music and lyrics, and also the vocalist. Because of my maintaining desire to make our music more complicated, our drummers kept changing, and finally in 2002 our band fell apart.

As soon as there were lots of unused material left from the grunge band, I from time to time record vocals for my electronic tracks and often it lives up to my expectations, but as a proverb says: there is no limit to the perfection, so I keep on improving myself by making performances in clubs of St. Petersburg.

In 2006, with the appearance of PC in my life, I started making the first steps in electronic music, and such artists as Aphex Twin, Amon Tobin and Venetian Snares are the ones I get inspiration from even today. 

I use Logiс Pro as well as Ableton Live, but preferably the first one. My aim is to join the ranks of truly talented artist of this planet. At live performances I try to interact with the audience and I also use some visual stuff. That’s how the Bender mask appeared. In the future, if my experiments with the vocals will result in something valuable, I would like to see it as an individual project. I am also interested in experiencing myself in drum&base.  As for now, I do my best to improve myself.

Дмитрий Рукавишников, выступающий под псевдонимом Elvis Compressly, начинал музыкальную деятельность в 1998 года и сменил уже не один псевдоним, также, как и музыкальные направления, в которых работал. Начинал как гитарист, вокалист и фронтмен, питерской гранж-группы "Децел". В 2002 году Дмитрий создает дуэт "Папье-маше" записывает макси-сингл, дуэтом со скрипкой. Отдавая предпочтения в своей музыке неровным размерам, Дмитрий все более интересуется электронными направлениями, поскольку уже не видит для себя возможности реализовать свои идеи посредством одной гитары.
С 2007 года он выступает как электронный исполнитель под псевдонимом Еlvis Compressly уже в жанре IDM. Поскольку для Compressly, как для исполнителя, является неинтересным придерживаться четких рамок одного и того же музыкального жанра, его сеты представляют собой замес из самых различных направлений современной электронной музыки начиная от breakcor'a и заканчивая dubstep'ом.
